My gateway was Metallica and My Chemical Romance. Then i went to A7X and BFMV before a friend showed me Asking Alexandria, and i found Dethklok and a few other bands throughout the guitar hero game. I'm still finding bands as i go. So far, the latest I've discovered are Lamb of God Lorna Shore and Shadow of Intent. I've been listening to metal since 5th grade in 2009 (if i remember the year right).

I forgot about Sybreed until Charlie mentioned them. Bioactive is a banger of a banger. I remember like 10-15 years ago when on KZbin you could actually search "genre metalcore" or whatever and sort by rating and you would find songs with a thousand likes and one dislike. Now you try that and you get literally a million videos with one like and zero dislikes completely unrelated to the search. Google made KZbin unsearchable, ironically.
