Ghost of Perdition, Deliverance, Black Rose Immortal (my favourite) Master's Apprentices, When - all of these songs are longer than 8 minutes (typically most modern bands could make 2-3 songs to cover that length of time) and their sound changes noticeably throughout.

I think part 1 was more so about the grief of losing someone, while part 2 is more about knowing that all the goodness in life, all your accomplishments, everything you ever aim to achieve for most people will be completely meaningless in the grand scheme of things, we truly just disappear from this world and this existence after it all ends. I think it would be incredibly beautiful for part three to pick up where the man in the video lives through his attempted suicide and finds meaning to live on without his loved one and knowing that despite all his trials and tests, he can find a way to find peace and happiness in this world continuing on.

I'm new to Lorna Shore. I've listened to a several songs of theirs recently, the first was To the Hellfire, which I thought was pretty good and brutal AF. I didn't realize they do songs with no brutal riffage and zero breakdowns like this, also, not sure how it's "disturbing". This is pretty tame compared to a lot of music videos that are on youtube, like the end of the HLB Earthless video for instance (which you reacted to). Full on high quality neck spurting gore effects. I'm guessing you're not a horror fan heh

The more I hear this song the closer it comes to dethroning Into the Earth from my favorite spot. The riff is so good.

That key change on the last chorus must be a setup for part 3, which would make total sense. It felt great, IMO.

I like your reaction to this video a lot. Even though the video for into the earth for example, is meant to be scary, it doesn’t achieve the same thing as this video, after getting emotionally invested in the character after the first part, no amount of creepy distorted alien faces in into the earth can make you feel as gross and sad as the characters portrayal of just plain and simple taking his own life. It’s so bleak and brutal. Fantastic shit, Adam’s knowledge of the human psyche really shines through in his music. I absolutely love Lorna Shore

Absolutely loving this song. I got an ad for Dawn Dish Soap for that nasty solo.

I start to think that this is some kind of prequel of "To The Hellfire" because of the story in this video.
