First you need to know how to growl. Then make sure your tongue is in the right spot: make the "LLLL" sound of the letter L, and notice where your tongue is. Now slide the tip of the tongue backwards along the roof of your mouth so that it's pointing upwards. That's like, the base position. Try speaking like that, it should sound just a little bit like kermit the frog. Now growl like that, and you can make a whole new set of sounds! Just pick a vowel, like E, and play with the breathing until you can start to hear that 'whistling' in the back of your mouth. Once you find the whistle, press on it harder and it becomes louder, and more piercing. I think it sounds weird in the song cuz he goes from whistling "E" to "A" (or AYE) like pitch perfectly, with no build up or breath in between, probably because it was done in 2 takes, and then stitched together afterwards. Not that you couldn't do it in 1 take, but it would be a hell of a lot easier in 2. ok, 5 bucks plz

Only got in to the deathcore, symphonic, blackend deathcore around 6 months ago thanks to the "Spanish drummer" (can't remember his name at the moment) on KZbin. Lorna Shore are my new favourite band, but I'm also getting into Band of Sacrifice, Paleface Swiss, Distant and many more, too many to mention. Disembodied Tyrant are a band that has been regularly on my playlists, The Poetic Edda that he did with Synestia gets played at least 4 times a week , his version of Winter always gets turned up to 11 much to the displeasure of my wife, so when The Tower: Part One was realised last week i got quite giddy. I've only been watching your channel for about the same length of time, your channel seems to review the type of music I'm currently into so I watch to see if you can introduced me to new band, love the section where you lock for bands on Spotify that have less than 5000 monthly listens, so for me to tune in and find that I've beaten you to a song makes me feel like I'm now part of this scene, community, following or what ever you want to call it. Yes there is a LOT going on in the song and it's going to take me about a month before I can get the tune in my head, I've only been listening to Pain Remains since April and there's only about 3 songs that I know nearly off by heart and there's a lot going on in their songs. Wife thinks I'm having a Mid Life Crisis, well I am naerly 60. Thanks and keep the videos coming 🤘
