@@ItsAmirGh I mean, I dont wanna argue too much about that, but to be honest: falcons don't care just about being the best of the best. They also look at the relevance. Because s1mple is faaaaar away from prime simple, but falcons couldn't care less about it. It is about the fact, that *s1mple* is "theirs". There are a lot of players that are better than s1mple at the moment, but falcons know, that relevance as an influential, famous person is equally relevant. Same reason Fallen is still at FURIA. Also dupreeh or Magisk are not the best dupreeh/Magisk we know, but we know them. And that's the whole point for the falcons org, I guess. Getting the famous old timers doesn't necessarily mean, that you will be as successful as their teams, when they had their prime time. But lets be honest. We all know shit regarding the intensions of falcons. If they stay with their strat to pick up the old but gold guys, they won't reach any relevant playoffs or finals. But hey, thats just my view.

Niko in stress situations refuses to rely on teamwork. In the Faze match he repeatedly went off solo and died with zero chance to trade. He repeatedly would swing to take the fights in other situations when his team was not ready to exploit his information. Basically, Niko played very selfish CS. It was obvious that Faze expected him to play this way and the just waited for it. Time after time Niko left them in a 4 vs 5 round. Hunter and Snax played extremely well as a duo and Malbs and Monesy tried to fill in when Niko punched out every time.

Spirit vs Faze as the first and the last finals of the year is the most poetic thing you could've imagine. This whole major story is not about Niko, ZywOo, m0NESY or donk. It's Karrigan's story about how he defeated all of the top-1 contenders and will defeat the same beast who harassed him throughout the year. Or won't he? People won't remember how he defeated donk at Copenhagen quarterfinals. People will remember Katowice and Shanghai finals. Especially if donk wins tomorrow...

There is one thing to be out called, and another to get killed multiple times through smoke, or get caught in the open. m0nesy was struggling whole tournament, if not for mirage malbs would also have bad tournament. He had 3 players lined up, and he barely killed one, because he couldn't hold the pressure today. Niko carried multiple times this major, but again struggled today. If your 3 main guns are bottom fragging I don't think any IGL could do much here.
