However a large bulk of his subscribers/fans are the ones that constantly support/enable his behavior and WANT to see the ridiculous thing Nick does in the next video. Most people don't subscribe to his channel for uplifting motivation or intellectual stuff, they just want to see the train wreck. Unfortunately I feel like once his act is dropped viewership/subscribers would take a dive. That doesn't mean it wouldn't recover as I'd love to see this guy thriving and healthy as would a lot of other people however he'll never recover to his viewership and subscribers he has now. It's just sad because he's built himself up on physically bringing himself down in a very weird scale. Thing is that he knows what he's doing, he just keeps doing it because he gets an income, and I don't think he has any other job or even that much of a choice right now. I know he's acting out like that on purpose, that's what it is; an act. He is doing it for views and attention and to earn even more money. I know some of the backstory as well. I really feel like he would like to stop, but doesn't know where or how. after all, there is a person behind all this mess. Someone with problems and his own feelings and his own life. He really needs help to get out of this horrendously destructive cycle

honestly this is pushing eating disorder vibes. most people know, but in case you don’t, eating disorders aren’t always about weight loss. with the way he feeds off of hate and negativity and ignores genuine concern, this is… uncomfortable. and frankly he could be suffering from more than just obesity.

Pure denial. You see it in morbidly obese folks at the hospital, until the sleep apnea and inability to walk kick in. It's hard to watch the avocado man, he reminds me of friends I've lost who behaved in similar ways (other than the melodramatic tantrums for the camera, of course). He's about to hit his thirties, and that's around the age when this lifestyle starts to take its toll. Two of my mates, dead at 32 and 34 because they couldn't quit the processed/junk food for every meal. I hope Nick comes to his senses or the later years of his life will be nothing but pain.
