Great game ,graphics ,Gameplay smoth as butter nevertheless the soundtrack & their no special items pick up sound ,hopefully their next game will remedy this or a game patch if a collect a hidden key etc it should make a special sound maybe it just me nitpicking i.m.p.o.

Interesting review. I would suggest paying a bit better attention to the scripts though. You have some non-sequiturs and logic errors in there. Examples. You say that the game reignited your love for platformers after Astro Bot. That would mean that Astro Bot made you dislike platofmers (maybe it did, but considering Astro received almost universal acclaim it seems odd). You also mention that the game offers a "modern twist" to a classic formula, but you never say what that twist is. And for that non-sequitur - you say that the composer's work on Donkey Kong adds an undeniable charm to Nikorediko which doesn't seem to make much sense. Regardless, keep up the good work. I'll check out your future uploads.

As much as I want ro like the game the sheer lack of any original ideas here keeps it from being anything more than DKC at home. These indie platformers really need to start developing their own identities instead of copying 20 year old games, it just ends making them easier to forget. On that note can we please stop msking DKC the blueprint for 80% of indie platformers? It's not novel or charming anymore

What other games are like DKC? It's literally my favorite platformer and haven't found almost any until now. Tropical Freeze is the best 2d platformer I've ever played.
