more in nba than football/baseball. it’s just the way nba is marketed, the fact there’s only 5 on the court, and players moving around so much. there’s no real division-based scheduling so there aren’t rivalries. but it’s a pretty recent phenomenon though.

The only other center with this kind of passing ability was Arvidas Sabonis. We didn't get to see him play during his prime healthy yrs. I believe that what we see Jokic do is what would've seen from Arvidas. From what I heard Sabonis could move faster and jump higher otherwise they have same game. Jokic gets some comparison to Bird, but I think he's the closest thing to the greatest European player ever Arvidas Sabonis.
