Jokic 30 points - 13 rebounds - 12 assists - 3 steals - 2 blocks on 67% FG shooting When Jokic was benched, Nuggets gave up 5 second-chance buckets for 12 points Denver was up by 6 pts to start Q4, but gave up a huge run in the 3 minutes Jokic was benched. It took Jokic the rest of Q4 to close the gap; it was a tied game with 90 seconds left, but it was too late... Jackson & AG forcing plays in the end...

Don't worry, this was a friendly game, they tend to play "three for three", home team wins. Many games 8n the regular season are like that, you can't play all of the 82 games seriously, there wouldn't be any player left uninjured for the playoffs.

Remember when Denver played Warriors in playoff (2022). Denver starting five were: Will Barton, Austin Rivers, Facundo Campazzo, Gordon and Jokic. Warriors: Curry, Klay Thompson, Poole, Wiggins, Green. What happened to those who left Denver? How many minutes they play in other teams. It is hard to win without quantity of quality. Denver need to bring another big name if they do not want to waste Joker best years. Jamal started great but with that knee injury he will continue to compensate and run into more injury.. Hope I am wrong.

The NBA Front Office aren't letting the Nuggets win two consecutive titles, and Nuggets Front Office knows it, that's why out of all the serious contenders only Denver didn't bring any rotation player in the summer. NBA wants the Celtics vs some big name like GSW, LAL etc in the Finals, American stars led teams, for national pride and views/dollars.

Denver have huge problems with the bench unit. They didn't sign anyone, and they lost Bruce Brown and uncle Jeff. They need a bench production, and a good role player via trade to be contenders.

Naaah its not big problem... important is that youngsters have playtime and have chance to build confidence and consistency... they have trade deadline to make some improovements if its needed but i like putting rookies in game as much as possible...

People forget but Vlatko was decent replacement for no Jokic minutes in the previous season, he kind a took that roll of a passer that Jokic does and it worked, his 3 pointers worked as well, Jordan also played good minutes, at least he gave a big body on the floor and they did lobs for him, it worked. They don't have center now, and PG from Clippers is not the best for Nuggets ball, those rookies don't have it in them, and Braun is not reliable for bigger offense role.

The last Denver time out where they decided to go for very slow two points lay up 14 seconds to go being 3 points down. Leaving the clock on less then 6 seconds and then chasing for free throw finish with no time outs left. I think 95% of people in this comment section would coach this thriller finish better than coach Malone. GG

To me it seems like Jokic has made a mistake. He was alone on 3pts line but he went in and tried to get 2 points + a foul. I don’t think coach Malone has to do anything with Jokics decision.

On the bright side MPJ’s 3pointer seems to be coming back. Be patient. When Murray returns, they will rise again. Jokic + Murray is all that’s needed.

Another game lost by Malone. I think that even the biggest amateur and beginner coach knows by heart how Malone plays, tactic and changes players. I don't understand does that man ever have a plan B? Jokić first quarter 9-10 minutes, second quarter starts in 4 minutes, third quarter starts in fourth minute, fourth quarter starts in fifth minute. and such a c/p arrangement is available for all other player. God only knows how he managed to win the ring
