5-1 with Russ as a starter and 6-1 when he plays 30+ mins. Start Russ at pg and shift Murray to sg. Move CB to the bench and give him 30-32 mins per game using staggered minutes.

@NedjoGuz .....i don't see why not? He's a team guy and i think it's all in how it's communicated to the player. The current winning % with Russ as a starter makes The Nuggets an "elite" team, in the non-Russ starts, even if you give The Nuggets those Grizzlies and Pelicans games that Jokic missed puts them at 10-7, which is fine but only slightly above avg. Now six games is a very small sample size as opposed to 17 games but the quality of the wins in the small sample size to me is what i would be more focused on. The Thunder, Hawks, Clippers, and Kings are high quality wins as these are good teams and we have the first four starts of 2023/2024 to gauge as well for Russ as a starting point guard(3-1) So this is 8-2 as a starting point guard in his last 10 starts and the efficiency numbers, except for the free throw line, are very good in those starts. CP3 and Mike Conley are still getting a chance to start and neither is a championship title winning pg. CP3 played off the bench for The Golden State Warriors and he wasn't able to help them much, because he is a starting point guard, not a reserve. That's exactly what we are seeing with Russ off the bench for The Lakers, Clippers, and Nuggets. He can do it but he simply isn't great at it. The "team" has to be emphasized while keeping Jokic and Murray the center of the offense. It appears to be better for the "team" for Russ to start.

This was the best game of the year. Russ 1 and JM at the 2 should be the new lineup. I love CB but he can run the 2nd unit and still get nearly 30 minutes.
