Hats off for the decision making in this video. For me this is the most interesting part. We all have our own tolerances for risk, and while the some of the hazards here are obvious and you're probably pushing it further than some others would, it seems that nothing is done without assessment.
@Nikolai_Schirmer Жыл бұрын
Thanks for recognizing that
@1llski Жыл бұрын
It's been amazing to watch how your assessment skills have evolved over the years. Being confident in reading the old crown is something that seemed next level, especially given how terrain trapp-y that looked.

Sooo we just gonna ignore that Jonas skied the most goose bump inducing, jelly jiggling, jumping around the kitchen inspiring, gotta go touring tomorrow after watching it line of this video????? That left hand turn over the roller and then that big sweepy right hander under the rocks oh dang! That’s my favorite type of terrain to ski, whole video is phenomenal!

Nice cave :) If you dig the tunnel upwards from the entrance, so that the sleeping area is about half a meter above the opening of the cave, you'll trap the warm air "upstairs" and it'll be a lot cosier during the night. Give it a try next time.

Great film as always, also really appreciated the little visual markers highlighting your avalanche risk descriptions. I know when I first started getting into backcountry skiing I sometimes found it difficult to visually parse out indicators of snow conditions and that sort of thing is extremely helpful!

What a banger! Impressed by Calum making it down with control in that situation.

Mate, by far you are my fav skier at the moment. The stoke is so good, you seem to be on your avy game (cutting it waaaaaay closer than I ever have), and riding super nice lines. This is... [searching for words]... pretty much perfect! Just as freeriding should be.

Great video found the soundtrack a lot better than on your last video where the music was quite distracting. Especially loved the shots with you skiing the slope with the sea in the background. Really shows the angle. Really have to travel to see a proper glacier. Every one I have seen until has been on it's death bed. Are you doing another sail to ski adventure?
