Nikolas and Gia Story (Part 63) || General Hospital

It’s interesting to see Nikolas’ attitude towards Gia and the deception job here and when he stormed into Laura’s office angry after Laura tried to choose Elizabeth.

Nikolas was such a rich kid. If he can't pay for something for someone he feels like that person is mad at him. When Gia wouldn't let him pick her up and take her to the party he knew he messed up somewhere. lol

If the party is for family then why is Elizabeth going I mean ain't Gia friends too ?

It is because Gia wasn't a close friend yet.

Gia wanted to be included in Laura's birthday celebration and Nikolas knew it and Gia did want the chance to say happy birthday to Laura too. I also think that the fact that the writers used an actual date and had Ava receive a roach on Valentine's Day on the current GH reinforced to me that Nikolas and Ava's marriage is doomed to fail and the fact that Nikolas's family and friends keep their distance even after he and Ava have been married for a year reinforces that the marriage and family that Ava awkwardly wants all of the sudden isn't going to last. Nikolas could have easily kept in contact with Spencer like Sonny did when Dante wasn't on GH. Ava could have asked to spend more time with Avery in the last and taken Ava to court if he didn't let Ava see Avery but Ava and Nikolas weren't all that concerned with their children and I would think getting hit by Britt would have helped Nikolas want to improve his relationship with an angry Spencer and that should have been dealt with over the last year but, Nikolas and Ava chose to ignore their kids. It was hard not to see how warm and kind Michael and Joss are to Avery and how excited she was when she met baby Donna and no, she doesn't miss Ava because all of Sonny's family loves her and gives her plenty of attention and Sonny told Carly before they had Donna that he needed Carly to live so that Ava would not try to raise Avery. Sonny has never responded like that when speaking about Alexis or Olivia and I think that's because Alexis, Olivia and Carly are all caring parents and they don't ignore their children. I also can't foresee Nikolas ignoring Trina for over a year when he finds out that he and Gia have a child together and the child that he always wanted.

Hey, I don't know if you've seen today's show, but the dialogue between Laura and Nikolas was something. Spencer isn't happy with Nikolas marrying Ava. Nikolas begrudgingly asked Laura "how long" he should try reaching out to Spencer, then told Laura he would try to talk to him for "Laura's sake."

@@nianikgia8432 I did watch the Laura and Nikolas scenes an it was hard not to notice that Nikolas really thinks that he needs to make amends with Spencer for Laura's sake and Laura does try to correct him but, I think that these scenes from today's GH reinforce his lack of an emotional connection with Spencer. I think that in this storyline with Gia we see that he can be an attentive and loving husband and parent but, Ava can't do that in part because she has ignored Avery for a year for the most part and when does Ava ever ask Nikolas about how he's doing or how he's coping? I also think it was hard not to notice that Ava is going to be in big trouble when she realizes that Ryan isn't incapacitated and it was hard not to notice that Nikolas and Gia really weren't looking for trouble like Ava does. I also think that it is important that the children of a soap opera couple actually like the person that their parent is married to and I think rewatching Carly and Franco's failed relationship is a good example. Carly's children didn't like Franco and she knew it. Carly and Franco aren't friends after they split and have nothing to do with each other now and I think that Nikolas and Ava's marriage is toxic and Nikolas and Ava don't even realize it. They could leave Ryan alone and focus on building a better relationship with both Spencer and Avery but Ava and Nikolas won't do that and if the powers that be really think that Nikolas and Ava were such a great, power couple then I know that Nikolas and Ava would have been forced to deal with an angry Spencer well before they were married for a year. Carly and Sonny and Luke and Laura as examples had to deal with an angry Michael and Lucky but their parents didn't have a nonchalant attitude towards their children or their anger like Nikolas does. The powers that be chose to have Ava and Nikolas ignore their kids for a year and now only because Sonny is missing in action does Ava take any real interest in Avery. Sonny and Carly really made an effort to be better parents and spouses to each other and it was written in a natural manner and all of their children are important to them. I can't foresee Carly or Gia ignoring their children for a year and Nikolas and Sonny know that. I also think that Carly has a warm relationship with Jax and Dante when she isn't required to and this is part of why Ava is jealous of Carly. Carly has friends and family around her who are willing and able to help her when something goes wrong. There really isn't anyone who wants to help Ava when something goes wrong for her and Ava never learns from her mistakes and never really tries to make better choices. Gia and Carly have made an effort to make better choices and that they realize what they say and do affects Sonny and Nikolas. Ava still doesn't get that. I also think that Sonny and Carly would have let Ava spend time with Avery but, Ava really didn't care and never really made an effort to spend time with Avery. Sonny and Carly happily raised Avery in a caring and happy household and Avery knows that she has a lot of people who love and care about her. Nikolas and Alexis will both love Trina and she will give them positive to focus on and I think that Nikolas needs a second chance to be a better father and husband.
