Even though I was not for the pairing of Nico, Nikolas was a beast in this scene and he only spoke facts. I do wonder if Courtney hadn’t died would they have been together and I’m going to say no. Even if Courtney had lived, there romance would have been short-lived.

Well, to be honest, most soaps are full of hypocrites, it's always good to hear characters called on it once in a while. I can understand how Nikolas felt here, but it's funny that nobody mentions Courtney now - not Nik, who had a child with her; not Carly, her best friend; not Sonny, her brother; not Jason, her former husband, same goes for Jax. Does Mike even bring her up anymore? LIz carried a baby for Courtney and Jax that she lost. You'd think Emily was a saint the way she is mourned.

I am a big fan of Nikolas and Courtney when I saw scenes when they were together and NiCo were AMAZING AND it was so sad that Courtney died and everything that Nikolas said was TRUE and I was appalled that ELIZABETH was the one who got up.She isn't a therapist and if she now wants to be a caring friend to Nikolas during his time of grieving well it's TOO DAMN LATE! If you wanted to be a friend to him you would have wanted him to be happy not urge him to leave the woman he loves.HYPOCRITES!

Elizabeth was with Nikolas when Courtney died. She knows he was hurting, and also angry about her death, but Courtney's funeral shouldn't have been about calling out other people. It was to remember Courtney. And, Jason didn't abandoned or dumped Courtney. Nik was wrong. Also, Courtney and Elizabeth put aside their differences. She invited Courtney to her wedding to Lucky.

Alexis & nikolas def got that cassadine in them. They both went off on people at funerals. It seems a funeral is the place gh loves for drama to go down. Maxie ripped felicia to shreds. I do agree that its crazy for a lot of people to show their face at Courtney's funeral. Def alan who accused her of killing aj, Jason who chose buisness over his wife, jax & her marriage to him wasnt good bc she started banging nikolas. Liz hated her for taking Jason. Sonny was a lousy brother. She hated ric. Too bad they killed off courtney bc they finally found her a good pairing in nikolas. Hated her with aj jason & jax.

I am literally hand on The Bible trying to figure out why half of these people had the audacity to actually show their faces at Courtney's funeral. Seriously can someone please explain to me why the hell Ric was even at the funeral? Him and Courtney did not get along so why are you even there then there's the fact that Monica and Alan really had the nerve to come. But what really pissed me off was Elizabeth now don't get me wrong I love Elizabeth but her reaction to Nikolas and Courtney's relationship really pisses me off. I get that you want to defend your friend and I understand that but also realize that When lucky Hey just gone out a hospital that it was Courtney and Nikolas making sure that your apartment was ready for him to come home too and not Emily and also remember that had Courtney been alive when the whole Lucky and Maxie affair went down and he was addicted to drugs she would have had your and Cameron staying at Wyndermere instead of trying to get you back with the drug addicted loser the wait Emily and Nikolas did. The problem with Nikolas and Courtney's relationship was he never stopped loving Emily. He wanted Emily back. He and Emily didn't break up because they stopped loving each other. It was because she kept pushing him way after she was raped. But, he still loved her. I was a little upset that Courtney didn't give Jax more of a chance than she did. She was acting jealous of Elizabeth. And she knew Emily and Nikolas we're in trouble. People got upset with her because they cared about Emily. Even Michael didn't understand. After watching Courtney and Nikolas scenes it was crazy they spent more time arguing about Jax and the baby, and Emily, they really didn't have much going for them. Just brief moments of making up after a fight. Nothing at all like Nikolas and Emily's tense, passionate love, narrow escapes, sacrifices, and adventures. Nikolas fought Zander, his Uncle, Emily's family, shot Mary, and threw his grandmother off a cliff to protect Emily. Emily was the love of his life. He told Lucky and Elizabeth what he and Emily had was rare, and he feared he'd never find that again.

Fans bring up now that Nik cheated on Emily as proof that Nik has always been awful, but I always point out that it was way more complicated than that. All she saw when she looked at him was Connor. He was completely helpless. TC and NL were magnificent in those therapy scenes. I actually did think that Courtney and Nik were hot, but agree, Emily was his heart and soul. The writers seem to forget that though. Like Ava said to Nina in a recent episode that she is the best thing to ever happen to Nikolas...and I'm watching like girlll no. They also had another scene this past year with Sonny/Nik at Courtney's grave and they were wondering if Nik/Courtney would still be together. The writers get lazy with character research.

The only thing Nikolas was wrong on was Jason abandoning Courtney. Courtney left him and he slowly fell in love with Sam, Courtney then changed her mind despite the fact she was dating Jax (which hurt Jason but he still helped Courtney out) and then sabotage JaSam trying to adopt Baby Hope. Sonny noticed Courtney involved herself and told Jason he has to choose if wanted to get back with Courtney or be with Sam (who had dumped him over him giving Hope back). Courtney then try to tell Jason she wanted him back but he stopped her and said he was in love with Sam. He still was helping Courtney out despite her breaking his heart. So Nikolas was full of it.
