As a mature woman I appreciate all the techniqes you have given me. I felt lost knowing that I could not continue to try to put makeup on like I did when I was much younger. You have shown me on how to applying makeup without looking like silly. The young woman now who are doing reviews look beautiful and have great tips but it was not for a mature woman. At age 52 I got very ill. I am now 74 and worse than I was in the beginning of my illness. I had stopped useing makeup for many years until I saw your reviews and decided to try to make myself to feel better and look as best as I possible can. I dropped 40pds. I had lost a lot of my hair so I bought a couple of wigs. I cannot tell you how good I felt when I looked in the mirror! I don't do it everyday but enough that I am happy when I do it. I love the new blush sticks and I enjoyed the old version as well but it’s nice to have a more strategic application with the stick. I also love the quality of the packaging-how the cap snaps on firmly and won’t fall off and get ruined and won’t get all over everything else in my makeup case. I’ve wondered about a creamy bronzer stick! I’m looking forward to that!

Hey Nikol! One way you could get your makeup refill stay put inside the decorative case would be to drip a little melted candle wax into the case and then press the refill insert into the soft wax. Then when it's time to change out the refill, just stick the whole thing into the freezer for awhile - the insert should pop right out once the wax hardens. Love your video - I'm of a certain age, and this reverse (others call it underpainting) method works wonders! Thanks for the video!

I love this and I am going to buy all the stuff to do it. I am 62 and have been blessed with good skin. Nobody believes I am almost 63 but I have never required all that stuff. Now I find myself with melasma and it seems my makeup finds every line and wrinkle. I have reached the time when less is more for sure.

I have to say as I get older that using a tinted sunscreen or moisturizer seems more natural for me. Adding bronzer and blusher this way is a great way to have that finished look without all the extra makeup that I feel shows up too many wrinkles. love this!

Thank you so much for this video. To be 100% honest, bronzer scares me. I have a fair complexion and feel that I could use the warmth of a bronzer to add some color to my skin and warm my complexion. I've tried a few times to apply bronzer, however, I was applying it kind of as a "last step" after I had applied all my other makeup. I never thought about applying it first then applying my foundation and letting the bronzer radiate through my foundation. I will definitely be trying this method.

I don’t really care if she lied she was never someone I trusted. I can enjoy her magazine articles and some of her shows without trusting her or vilifying her either one. The most interesting thing about her to me is the way she accepted her fate ( going to jail) and didn’t fight it but went willingly, made friends while she was their and really took it all in stride and came out with dignity. I was impressed with that. As for you I trust you completely and I can understand why it bothers you so badly that she was not truthful. You care about ladies who are getting older and some have a fragile self esteem and can get down because someone wasn’t what they were represented to be. I believe it is a passion of yours to help us and you are protective, so of course you were disappointed. I love ALL your content, the shorts where you are getting ready in your beautiful clothes and having FUN and I have fun watching them also your instructional content is great. I really don’t understand the criticism you receive sometimes I think it’s jealousy clothed in a “I’m morally better than you” comment and I understand your followers wanting to stand up for you however maybe they could try saying one thing to let the offender known their opinion is in the minority and then no matter what else is said not reply, people do stop sooner if they are ignored. I am not an attractive lady but I have other attributes or personality traits that makes me comfortable in my own skin and I love your content, confidence is beautiful in itself.

I have dark circles and redness (ugh!). I had sticks (Guerlain) to do contouring, but it doesn’t stay on all day. Some influencers I follow show us a look, like you did, and they come back 3, 6, or 8 hours later to show the result. From my experience, contouring with sticks doesn’t last as long as contouring with powder. It could be interesting if you showed through the hours the effect of the make-up you put. I carry powder in my bag; it is easier to powder up lightly during the day than to redo the look with the sticks.

That’s a beautiful technique Nicole, the darker blush reminded me of my Mum who wore a blush daily right on the apple of her cheeks , now I’m talking over 40 years ago and I have always tended to use a lighter shade but not quiet on the apple I might just try it.
