I got a pair and I am not overly impressed. They are clear and bright enough but the ocular lens fog over just from my eyes being near them. And the lens caps and case are pretty cheap. If you really don't need the zoom feature just get a decent pair of fixed power binos. The glass will most likely be better. I have a set of vortex crossfire 12x50's that cost the same as these did. They look better and the accessories are much better. Or a spotting scope, but then you are talking almost twice the money or more for something decent. Don't get me wrong, they are not total junk. They work reasonably well for the money. I just think they might have cut some corners to get the zoom function in there at that price point.

any tripod will do, make sure your tripod is a bit taller than you are, because then you wont have to bend or crouch a bit to look through your binos. im 168 cm and bought a tripod of 170cm, the tripod adapter is also 10 cm so my bino will be at 1.8 meter hight. pretty good so i wont have to crouch or bend some shit.
