*UPDATES*
Many have commented on how poor the Sigma 50mm is at AF-C compared to other Nikon lenses. I was concerned here with the two best 85mm equiv range portrait lenses I could find on the two bodies. But if AF-C is extremely important to you, more research than what I provided here is warranted.
Another viewer commented on my lack of coverage of the XQU card. His words: "If you are shooting with an XQD card the buffer stops at 200 and you can just repress the shutter and keep going. It is almost unlimited in RAW at 10 FPS. That XQU card is a must-have for the D500."
Description:
I've really wanted to compare these two bodies for awhile, and last week I finally got the chance. This is a first impressions and comparison of the Nikon d500, as it compares to what I've been shooting with for awhile, the Fuji x-t2. I stuck with just one lens on both cameras, which are as comparable as I could find. the Sigma 50mm 1.4 and the Fujifilm 56mm 1.2.
