Hi, iam a beginner and i am trying to shoot my own videos playing the guitar. And my problem is that i cannot use the stutter button to focus on my face cause obviously i cant be behind the camera and be the subject at the same time. Is there a way for the camera (d5200) to autofocus on my face afterwards? Thanks!

I followed this tutorial whilst operating the camera. I never had the focus point doing as you said, for example, pressing the OK button, did not place the focus point back in the centre of the grid, neither did the focus point move, when I held the shutter half down and tried to re position it. There has to be a setting which I missed.

ok, so if for wedding you suggest the AF-A , why don't set straighaway the AF-C mode? In this way the continuous focus will works better and if you have a subjet that is not moving it will works fine too.
