Looking forward to know what happens to that camera. Also endeavouring on fixing the same Nikon. Thanks for sharing your process.

From my research, looks like the best way to go is to start from the lens front glass….taking out the front glass, removing the aperture blades. Most likely the aperture control pin is tangled up with the lens mount ring so need to remove that pin so the rest of the lens can be taken off. If I’m lucky, the shutter/mirror can be recovered…..then to restore the aperture and lens. That is the plan…….Cheers.

@@hometechengineeringvlog1141 Oh! I see! I actually meant the shutter issue. My camera's shutter isn't working, the camera doesn't load when winding.

@@hometechengineeringvlog1141 Hi, did it work? and is the problem actually coming from the lens? I am having the same problem. The mirror was stuck, I fixed it and now the shutter doesn't want to release, exactly like in the video. I would appreciate the help. Love your videos.

@@anap6610 The problem is the focusing screen falls off and stuck between the mirror and the lens mount, preventing the lens from to be removed and the shutter to be release. After removing the focusing screen after cutting off the lens, everything works. If you now only have a shutter release issue, then I would open up the bottom plate first…I have had video on this…in earlier episode. Good luck
