Will this work with the Nikon D850?

Unfortunately, no. You can use the Snapbridge app though and that's free. Bluetooth link to the camera.

What is the angle of use ? 15, 30 or 90 degrees ? Should we be in direct line with the camera ?
@ThePhotographyHobbyist6 жыл бұрын
Yvon Simard It’s Infrared so you do have to have the end of the remote pointed towards the receiver on the camera but you can be off angle a little. I don’t know how far off center you can be. The distance is approximately 15’.

Will this remote control the video camera also?

I think it only works for triggering a photo, not start/stop for video, unfortunately.

That was a good walkthrough for the remote control. I came here to check if I was doing it right. There really isn't much to do but somehow for my Nikon D3000, it's not working. Nothing happens when I press the remote. What could be the reason ? Do you have any idea ?

Hooked on Photography Umm.. that's basically what you've shown in the video. Doesn't help much. I've no problem choosing the right setting "remote control shutter release mode" but I've a feeling that I'm seriously missing something other than this.. Something very simple.
@ThePhotographyHobbyist7 жыл бұрын
Deep Bandivadekar I don’t know. I don’t have a camera that uses this anymore do I can’t test it. I do know that some cameras only have the sensor on one side of the camera so maybe that’s a possibility. If you’re not pointing it towards the correct side if that model only has one sensor.

Hooked on Photography Alright. Thanks for your inputs. I'll keep a reply here if I figure it out.

Can I do bulb photography with this?
@robertdonaghy87808 жыл бұрын
I don't think so , but most Nikon DSLR have long exposure settings you can set. I have set mine to 90 seconds..use manual settings ... so , you have a good long exposure. I typically test long night exposures and view in my view finder for the results adjusting the look as I go.

@ThePhotographyHobbyist5 жыл бұрын
Check page 80 of the Nikon D7000 manual. Be sure you're in the correct mode for it to work. Also, I don't know if the D7000 has the receiver only on the front of the camera or on the front AND back, but it should definitely have the IR receiver on the front....so if you're pointing it at the back, try pointing it at the front (line of sight, it's not radio frequency): cdn-10.nikon-cdn.com/pdf/manuals/kie88335f7869dfuejdl=-cww2/D7000_EN.pdf

You've fungus under your right nail. Use Vick's Vapo-Rub or WalMart's Equate equivalent 2x/day. Just rub it on the nail. It'll take a while, but eventually the nail will be fine.

Thanks, but I actually had smashed my thumb and it took a few weeks for that spot to be pushed out (like a blood blister or something, whatever you want to call it)...and after that, it was back to normal. :-) It wasn't a fungus. Just a damaged area from where I accidentally hit my thumb in the week or two before this video.
