I’m with you on the stacked sensor. Nikon has surprised the market with Z9 and Z8. I expect another, “Surprise!”.

Interesting concept and very feasible to clock the processor down. However I feel it is important for Nikon to be on par with the autofocus performances of other brands. They could very well make acquiring focus in a snappy manner and still reserve several features for the Z8 & Z9 in order not to cannibalise those.

I agree.. Clearly they have done “something” to improve heat management. We will know in 2 hrs!!

​@@kellysparksphotography Like most I'm excited to see the real specs, after all this rumouring and teasing that have been going on for over 1 year. However I feel that it will not come cheap. As you rightfully mentioned it depends where the buyer is in the world. Here in Switzerland the ZF sells for over USD 2200.- so I can't believe the projections (or rather wishful thinking) of KZbinrs who have been talking about a USD 2000.- Nikon Z6 iii. Perhaps a USD 2000.- rage is up to 2999.- 😁

So wanting to start with photography, seems to be a large general concensus on starting with a Z6II. I was getting my shoes on and keys to go buy the Z6II. Is there any reason to wait? I doubt that the 6III is going to push sales away that will cause a massive decrease in price of the Z6II anytime soon, especially if the 3 is around $2500. I'm not an economist though, so i dont truly know what I'm talking about

I think you could get a bigger discount in the used Z6II market at places like KEH.

Around USD 1110.- for a Z6 ii body here in Switzerland and we are one of the most expensive places for such gear. Except for those countries with ridiculous import taxes.
