Hello is the canon 2000d good for me if my main focus is film making?

Hello, you can shoot good video with the 2000D, but it doesn't have an external microphone socket, so you will be restricted in the sound you can record inside the camera. If you intend to record sound independently, then that is fine, but if you want to record with a microphone directly into the camera, this camera is not for you. The Canon EOS T6i, or 750D has an external Mic socket, so that might be better..

Hello, it depends what camera you have, but the priorities, I am guessing, are the you can get sharp pictures in relatively small spaces. I assume you will be using a flash. So the main factor is a wide lens, not too expensive and a reasonable aperture, so that you can use natural light if it is available. If you have a full frame camera, then I would suggest you could look at the 50mm EF f1.8 STM, or if you have some money the Canon EF 17-40 mm f/4.0 L USM or the Canon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM. If you have a crop frame camera, I would take a look at an EF-S 24mm f2.8 STM or an EF-S 10-18mm f4.5/5.6 STM.

yes. For Canon, both the EF and EF-S lenses will work on the 4000D.
