Tip for the day: Tie a piece of fabric around your glue bottle, use the fabric as a place to stick your glue pin in while the bottle is in use. No more missing stick pins.
@bellescrapper2228 Жыл бұрын
You can also wrap a rubberband around the glue bottle and this makes a good place to stick your pin while in use.

So, new to the whole junk journal/lap book world. This is TRULY amazing! We just moved to the farm that was homesteader by my great grandparents - generations of memorabilia! So many old, deteriorating books! Plus, we bought a church in town that was built in 1907 - so many handwritten journals! Do I make copies of pages of interest or do I start tearing these things apart? Love your creativity, your wit, and your inspiration. Also - when can we expect part 3? 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😬

Great video. Just a note, spiders are great in the house as they eat the other bugs that come in. If you have spiders you can bet there is "food" around for them. I have a deal with my spiders. As long as they stay out of my reach they are welcome to stay but if they come down to my height or if they come up to where I can see them, they are gone. Had a little one walk across the book I was gluing and it was gone, the one behind the washing machine that I cannot reach can stay. LOL.

I agree with you there! The very next day, I saw a little cellar spider by the back door. But, he got to stay because cellar spiders eat black widows. 😄

I just love your style. :) Btw, spiders inside... I battle that living in a ground floor apartment. I felt so bad throwing out a "large" spider (well, for me large is 3-4 cm. I live in a small place, so... :D ) when it was cold outside... hoping it found cover before its feet froze... :/ Otherwise a bird got a snack.

@NiktheBooksmith Жыл бұрын
The report cover was sent to me by a friend a few years ago. But, I'll come across find vintage paperwork at thrift shops from time to time. Estate sales are a great place for that sort of thing, too. A couple times, I've been gifted old accounting paper, dictionaries, etc. by friends who were cleaning out their parent's or grandparent's basements or offices. Just let ppl know you'll take it off their hands. =)

I don’t want to alarm you but it is said you are rarely, during your entire life, more than 2 feet away from a spider. 😉 And you’ve survived this long, so it’s ok! I always try to be kind when I remove them too. I’m sure they appreciate it. We must look much scarier to them than they to us!

I leave little spiders be. They catch lots of bugs in their webs. Hunter spiders or jumping spiders freak me out. And I do not like black spiders. (shiver) Anyhoo, what I like about you is your measure twice/cut, sew, glue once attitude. I do not like to watch whoopsies. I sure can learn from somebody’s mistakes, but would rather learn from successes. So thanks for being careful.
