Can somebody find out the value of gold at the time of Marthandavarma? We shouldn't forget that there were times when gold was cheaper than today. What reason is there to assume gold had the same value as today - when discussing gold gifts were devised by brahmins for extortion? may be true. may not be. same time he is saying pepper was costlier than gold. Vishnu temples are absent in north india because of many reasons. One is mugal invasion, second is sprituality is different in north india than in south India. In north a Guru is there for everybody but in south going to temple is spirituality. Some of the things he is talking is correct. Missed authenticity on talks, when he says "searching internet he found 90% of Vishnu temples are in Kerala, Tamilnadu, Andhra, etc". Good discussion though.
