I've always liked him. Probably because he always seems relaxed, and he *loves* to talk about music. After all these years, he doesn't look tired or jaded, and he's ageless.

This guy doesn't age. He still looks incredible. A few years ago I was walking on the South Bank in London and there, standing alone without (yet) a crowd around him, was Nile busking with his white strat. Couldn't believe it - and obviously not something he'd do because he needed the money! By the time I realised it was really him I had practically passed him by and so felt too awkward to turn around and show him some respect... He just such a genuine person and such a gifted musician.

Todays radio is nothing like the 60's thru the 80s' where music was real, live for me. There was a time where you could call a radio station and request a song. MTV was an excellent venue> Back then people talked about music and bought albums. Todays music, well I'm not into it cause it doesn't move me. We had WBCN Radio in Boston where they played Bob Marley and the DJ's talked about it. Kids, you missed it.

This is a great person to interview for someone like me, bc I was really starting to wonder if you all knew that black people make music too! We like it, as well!!

@@thesushifiend yes, thank you!! I agree. Unfortunately, you won't find many black people being interviewed on this particular channel.

I"m old school in that I tend to listen to the whole album from start to finish. I don't stream music, I buy it. More people should but then most people are cheap and lazy in my opinion. I could be wrong though.

Music as we knew it, is dead and isn't coming back. It has gone the same way big band music did by the early 50`s. Rock was purposely murdered by the early 90s and every other genre has followed. All we are left with is lifeless and soulless, robot, computer generated, auto tuned, bilge. The previous generation and especially this current generation has zero interest in actual music. Yeah, there are very small pockets that still do, but not enough to support an actual gigging/touring new band. Even this small minority think music should be free and wont buy an artist/bands music. They would be in debt and broke within 2 weeks, that's if they could actually find a club to play at that would pay them! Heck, the new thing, the band has to pay the club owner to use their club. ha On top of that, there is almost no more record/CD sales to even generate a stipend to cover, motels, food, fuel, insurance, laundry and whatever else pops up. Anybody that thinks otherwise is a romantic fool. It's over Johnny! OVER!
