@@xiami11 Yes, and no one who plays this type of music comes close to the force and power Dominator has. Drummers like Brad Wilk, Eloy Casagrande and Dave Ghrol play with incredable force, they hit hard, but they don't play as fast. I dubt Aaron Kitcher could play his songs without triggers and actually sound as hard as he does on record.

***** Depends on what you think is hard haha. In half a year to two years, you can learn to drum like 80-95% of the songs you hear on the radio, somewhat decently. I'm a drummer and I'd say, compared to guitar, it's relatively easy, because with a BIT of talent, you can play dozens of songs by ear, just by trying, trail and error, while guitarplayers have to fuck around with tabs etc. It's not as clear what string and fret a guitarplayer is playing, but it's damn clear if a drummer's playing the bassdrum, the snare and/or the hihat. Just keep in mind you have neighboors etc. There's no volume button on drums, unless you buy an electronic drumkit :)

Even though you can see that Fjellstrom's got some problems keeping the blasts up fulltime, i'm still insanely impressed that he actually went full blast at least half the time. Consider that this this is (recalculated for triplets) 285PBM !@#%^. That almost 10 hits per second, with BOTH hands. That's absolutely, fucking insane. Kollias eat your heart out :)

WRONG! It’s precisely about practice. It takes years to nail the necessary techniques required in order to play this fast. Nobody just jumps onto a kit and instantly manages 300BPM on the double bass. Extreme metal is one of the most difficult genres of drumming on the planet to master.
