I switched from my TP9SFX to a METE SFT because I wanted a slightly shorter barrel for concealment. I put about 8000 rounds through my TP9 and it still runs great. The only time I had any problems was I would reload my 9mm bullets with too little powder, after not cleaning my gun for a few thousand rounds. Canik is a good gun maker. And all of the magazines are swapable with the different frames (Except the SC)! I think you will like it.

@@shanepotvin30 Just like Kel-tec does, Canik only makes so many and drops them to the distributors, which is normally 1 or 2 PER distributor in each state. Then they move to the next gun and do the same thing. This is why some guns are out of stock for so long then they come back in a wave and they are gone again. Yes they will be shipped in March and go on sale in April but the 1 or 2 that each distributor gets will NOT make it to the local gun shops, those will be kept by the distributor .... This is a VERY VERY HOT HOT gun to get. The Rival-S Chrome was HOT and it took over a year before people were able to get one.

This is an average guy's opinion. I absolutely love my Canik METE SFX. Been competing with it for a year now and haven't had a single mechanical failure. I'm not a pro but I am a pog. I've shot just over 2000 rounds with it.

Of all the striker brands I've shot (and there's A LOT) the new Canik are really impressive. Best ergos, by far best trigger, now better reliability, they're hard to beat.....or you can go back to outdated Glocks or modular Sigs that have crap reliability, flimsy triggers and safety issues.
