Had the same thought about differing altitude. Then he could make them go forward faster, and if anything wasn’t destroyed by the first passage the other one would mop it up. But mostly it should make for much faster mission completion.

Thanks @Lathland for Uploading Terratech and Nimbatus to such an extent. I really love your content. There are so many things I would like to tell you but I am from germany and my english is not the best, you could only guess what I want to say

Old video, but idea for you anyways... The ground sensors could be placed on a wheel just like the guns. 4 spinning sensors would make sure the drone stays away from ground. Connect to a buffer so they keep moving away from land on uneven terrain. One forward facing sensor connected to a NOT gate could be used to shut off the movement thruster, so it only moves when there's not a wall in front of it. Have it shorter than the spinning sensors so it gets close enough to trigger the upward thrusters.

Very cool. You could give the core-killing drone some of the non-tower bullet shotguns facing sideways so it can even clean up the enemies in the centre if you wanted. Also it may be an idea to move some more of the solar panels on the main craft to the satellite to make the main craft lighter and therefore faster.

On the map, the ring around the planet shows you if it have a hive. If it is a solid ring, it only has a transmitter. If it has a split ring, there is a hive and transmitter.

You could probably just use the two surface burners, as when they meet on the other side of the world, they begin to burn to the core.It will sacrifice speed of autocomplete for a smaller parts count and energy drain.

I have an idea for a drone that is Realy big that you can release smaller drones with turrets that just float above the hives and automatically shoot enemies if you want you can make that if they detect ground they go to a certain side and exterminate enemies you are just basically waiting above with one digger drone that shoots the mother hive if there is one a LOT of other drones that go in different heights and shoot enemies so they don't collide and a few drones that just the moment they get released they are just turrets defending their king... ALL HAIL LATHLAND THE GOD OF LAZINESS...

If you hadn’t put in the things that make the drones not see the command you are doing could you have made a sensor that would tell the main ship to go left or right if a drone detected resource below it? Then turn ur ship into a drone that just collects resource and make the satellite bigger?

Just so you know, Lath, automated drones can't kill the mother hive. I have no idea why, but I made a drone with about 30 lasers that just did nothing but dig a hole and hit the hive. I left for about half an hour, and when I got back, it hadn't killed the hive. Also, the whole thing with drones not needing their own power and fuel? Also goes the other way. I challenge you to make a drone that kills all the surface things and holds power while you just go harvest that green resource crystal stuff. Disclaimer: I haven't finished watching the video and it might be in there. Update 1: Power satellite? Better than the idea I had. Update 2: Apparently the drones can kill the hive. Not sure why mine couldn't. Maybe lasers can't kill it? Update 3: Just so you know, you can tell how many objectives each planet has without visiting them. If you look at the ring around them, ones that have two missions (transmitter and hives or large hive) have two segments to the ring, and ones that have just one mission (transmitter only) have a continuous ring.
