I think the issue with the rear laser slowly getting closer and closer to the body is due to the weapon's weight. Every cycle it's ever so slightly closer to the main body, Put a counter weight opposite of the weapon and the issue should resolve.

You could set something on your remote drones that sends a signal to some lights on your main drone, each drone having its own light so you can easily tell when one is destroyed.

you should try using backwards spikes for the wheels, since they have that lesser profile (the actual spike) you could potentially rotate them together and not have problems

hey my guess as to your laser tail comming closser and closser to the front of your vehicule might be that it is affected by gravity making go slightly faster down and slower up. To fix it you will likely need to fenagle whit the timing of the impulse giver *for every different gravity type* or use a gravity sensor and some logic gate to control it. love the video and have a good day.

Hmm it would be possible to make a walking creation. like have a spinblock swing a a second spinblock forward while it also does he same as to extend the leg and then have them reverse puling it back(and have say 4 of these "legs" alternating in a way so there is always 2-3 of them on the ground) it would take some planing aright but it's crazy enough that it just might work.

however, when you lose power, the gates don't check at the same times, also if your frames dip too much or sporadically it'll offset the tics/sec for any calculations it's doing so the length of 1s changes from second to second.

If you manage to figure out the correct timing for that laser on a hinge, for the love of god, please share... I tried making a stabilized mining drone that had only 1-2 mining lasers (to cut down on energy cost) set on a hinge going back and forth to carve a path just large enough for the drone. Literally spent hours trying to find out why it isn't properly working and fiddling with the timing to get it working.

The reason it rotates more downwards is probably beacause of gravity. As for how to stop it from rotating too far, put a block or free hinge or something in the way to block it from rotating straight down

@Erik S That won't work. Eventually, it'll just clip through the block and cause all sorts of problems, probably even explosions causing damage to your drone.

LED wheels + a sensor on the wheels to check for if they're touching terrain=wheels that light up when they're on the ground... Not too sure if this would be useful in any way, but it looks pretty at least :D

Maybe instead of using motorized hinges, use free hinges with 4 thrusters going in the direction of rotation, so have 2 thrusters set to D that rotates the wheels clockwise and have the other two thrusters set to A to go counter clockwise. I don't know if this actually works, but it would be interesting if you gave this a shot. Next, I believe the laser was getting progressively closer to the back wheel as the force of gravity that is acted on the laser makes the motorized hinge turn downwards faster than it goes upwards, as when the hinge turns downwards, it has the added force of the weight of the thrusters, and vice versa. I'm not exactly sure how you can fix this (Maybe add a thruster to counter act it, assuming you can adjust the amount of force is spits out), but I love your idea for it. You really should get choice chamber at some point. :P

9:00 Omg lath, the downwards thrust is based off the direction of the craft. It isn't making it heavier it's giving it downforce, it isn't making it harder to go up the cliff

Yes, it is giving it downforce which helps stick it to the cliff which increases the force being put onto the craft onto the side , which makes it harder to climb the cliff, in all respects it is making it heavier as it increases the friction (Needed friction to do that job, but when the friction isn't needed it DOES make it slower.) Hope that clears that up a little, should have used different phrasing!
