I am aware an easier way to copy and paste the missiles to use multiple of them would have been to use the logic splitter as I have done in previous builds so that I wouldn't need to change every single gate/switches controls. I also was a bit of a dumb dumb and removed a small section of the video in which I discussed that briefly and stated I wanted a control station sort of feel by the end so all gates and such are on the main drone, I also then removed the second clip hinting this which was also testing the very first missile build. Cutting down hours of footage and rambling can be problematic when the rambling sometimes is important! Enjoy the flamey goodness anyhoo! :D

Lathland sir could it be that the reason you weren’t insulating in your attempts was because the heater has an aoe so insulation works if the heater can’t heat up anything so you could technically you could make a fire spreads rocket that you can use several times

I have 2 questions: 1. Does more damage translate to more elemental strength? 2. Is there any weapon upgrade that increases elemental strength? I ask these questions because I would find it interesting to have a weapon, probably a sniper, shoot a target once to ignite it, eventually killing it. It would make missions that involve destroying things easy, as you can just flyby and shoot once to destroy the structure. If you do this, could you please do this in your next episode? Edit: How about the next episode being a "creating a perfect weapon" episode about the sniper; do max damage kinetic for the first sniper and what is stated above.

hey put two thermostats right next to each other and have one of then turn a cooler on when at bla bla bla temp and have a the other thermostat turn on a heater so you wont get to hot and you wont get to cold

My first idea would be to just have a outer shell of heaters and an inner ore of coolers behind temperature-resistant plating, which would form a ball, that rolls around, or in an extreme case, gets made big enough to house power and thrusters in the inner shell.

my suggestion would be "heat mines", little lumps of battery and heater that you drop and activate with a single key. this would allow you to do "bombing runs" where you fly past and drop a heat mine on your unsuspecting target and watch them slowly burn. they would be just as effective as the seekers at half the space

You could add a jump thruster to a heater and a magnet, allowing you to throw the small heater at transmitters and such.

Anyone else want to see more cosmoteer? They added rail-guns and if you join there discord you can download the 1.14.2 update which hasn’t released yet. It adds booster thrusters, with large laser guns. They have also added explosives, and engines which increase your thruster efficiency. I swear I’m not being paid to say this, I honestly just want to see lath to revisit this game if not just for one video

I would add the cooler closer to the front so it cools the main body while the heater heats anything in front of the drones.

Done that a few times when the planet + bonus system was introduced - It's a huge increase to range, damage and width of the laser :)

With this sort of technology maybe try and make like drone fighters which will take out all the hostiles on a planet and one the planet is safe you can use the mother ship drone to collect resources

Could you build a fire bomber by making a heater with some insulators and one non insulated block on your bomber so you can detach via combustion and drop fire on enemies without needing a large ship and therefore have more control.

What if you made a tiny little drone that just has four small thrusters, two pill shaped fuel cells, a single shield, one heat laser, a camera unit, and a solar panel You could quickly just zip around and set things on fire Or different weapons for different micro-drone purposes

big question is the heat a range thing or is it traveling by mount point from the looks of things the reason your heat resistant plating is not working is because you are mounting the heater directly to your core and it is just going around the plate

No matter on how it's mounted the same things occur, I did try it also attached to the heat resistant plating as well and it had the same results as long as the non-resistant items were in it's range.

I have used that in the past, but I wanted the main body to be a sort of.. control station sort of style so the spliters wouldn't have worked well in this particular build. I will use them again in the future I'm sure!
