This was so cool! Cappy makes for an interesting villain and it's cool to see what would happen if he teamed up with Bowser and if Tiara helped Mario. I also really liked how the Cloud Kingdom and Ruined Kingdom were more substantial in the story, something I wish the original game did. I really hope you continue going in this direction with your content, you're a great storyteller!

There should be a game called "Shy Guy Oddysey" where you at first have a normal shy guy mask at the start, and you are in this dreamlike reality. It's a red shy guy with his friends, like other shy guys, Wart, Mowser and Birdo, and of course his girlfriend Shy Gal. They have veggie fights using Warts veggie spitting machine, then they do a little weeding, and have fun throwing weeds at each other. Whilst they are, Shy Guys finds a potion, he throws it and a door appears leading them into a Shadowy 2D section, then somebody locks them in, so they dig and did the sand, until they find the sacred emergency key. Which picking up is used as a flag for when your in a serious emergency, shy guy picks it up and Phanto comes to the rescue, informing him that Mario had locked them in and stole the machine, he also kidnappen Shy Gal. He then wore phanto for his journey and the key untrapped them. Mario had seen a few mushrooms comne out of the machine too, so he had stole it. You needed to use Phanto to capture your enemies, and also capture friends like capturing Yoshi instead of Birdo and you capture ladybugs in the tutorial to climnb really high and fast. You residents like shy guys and some friends like Wart and Mowser. And you must take down Mario and his living mask, the Mario Mask from Majora's Mask and throws turnips sometimes, to restore that veggie machine and save shy gal. During the game you get cherries and red coins as currency. You can customize your shy guy colour and also your mask, so you could have a sniffit phanto mask, or have the majoras mask, or a Corona Mask. And the 2D bonus areas, are like the bonus areas in smb2 and you enter them by finding magic special doors. You get the jist

So basically I decided to plan a what would happen if Bowser didn't come to marry Peach...but something far worse. So here it is! Cap kingdom: Our story begins above the skies of the Mushroom Kingdom like the original Odyssey game, but Bowser didn't come to marry Peach. Bowser came along to destroy the kingdom and kill Mario...unlike the original Odyssey, Mario manages to escape as he climbed into one of the airships (the one from Super Mario Bros: Wonder) and tries flying off into the distance. But Bowser shoots a bullseye bill straight at the airship which cuases the engine to overheat and explode: causing Mario to plummet to the surface quickly, Bowser knowing well Mario is still alive decides to travel down to the Cap Kingdom so he could find him abd finish him off. Meanwhile in the kingdom of Bonnenton, the cap kingdom. Cappy rules the kingdom as it's king...keeping the union between the other kingdoms stable and taking care of his baby sister Tiara. At the end of the day, Cappy notices an airship crashing into the field outside of Bonnenton. He discovers Mario hidden underneath the ruins of the airship while he was still alive...both of them begin talking about their experiences and getting closer together...meanwhile in downtwon Bonnenton...several of Bowser's airship began attacking the Cap Kingdom, but luckily for the Cap Kingdom Cappy had already formed an army just in case of scenarios like this. Bowser's soilders win in the end but both sides are damaged in the end...the koopa king begins going on a rampage throught the streets of the Cap Kingdom capturing the bonneteers who weren't quick enough who weren't quick enough to flee into their house, without Cappy noticing the koopalings rush towards Bowser clinging to Tiara who was continuously bawling trying to get out of their grasp...eventually they get sucked into the mothership via a laser (like a UFO in movies). Then suddenly Cappy notices the Koopalings entering the mothership holding poor Tiara as it slowly begins travelling towards the Sand Kingdom...Cappy, knowing well that he'll never see his little sister again starts to break down knowing well that he had failed to protect his people and more importantly Tiara. Mario deocdes to comfort him and persuaded him that both of them will save Tiara from the evil koopa king...Cappy starts cheer8ng up as both of them decide to team up together. And thus Mario and Cappy begin running towards the Hat Tower, once they arrived at the Hat Tower and entered inside...they found a frog and Cappy explained to Mario about his capture abilities. Mario uses Cappy to capture the frog and they go on their merry way. While jumping through the tower they encounter enemies like Mini Goombas, Koopa Troopas and Hoppycats...qfter a quick advebture Cappy and Mario travel to the top of the tower and then they notice a strange portal appear at the very top and Lemmy appeared from the portal and the forst boss fight started...Lemmy throws Bobombs, balls or saws at Mario while constantly using his ball to bounce all over the place. After every pound on the head Lemmy enters his shell and vertically dashes across the arena. Eventually after three hits Lemmy is defeated and Mario and Cappy use an electrical line that appeared after the boss fight and they travel to the Cascade Kingdom along with several Bonneteers to give them a brand new home. Cascade Kingdom: Once Mario, Cappy and the bonnenteers arrived in the Cascade Kingdom, Mariosees a small area where the bonneteers can make into a village but unfortunately the open area is being patrolled by rabid Chain chimps which Mario needs to capture in order to break a huge chunk of stone and get their first power moon. After Mario and Cappy obtain their first power moon, a huge bridge of rocks and fossils falls from the sky allowing our two heroes to travel across the river and make their way towards Madame Broodal who was observing the area looking for foes to defeat...on their way up: they have to travel through 2d side sections, parkour using floating islands and have to fight enemies such as: Spinys, dry bones, hammer bros and baloombas. Once they arrived at the top: Madame Broodal noticed them and became enraged. Ra,bling about some kind of airship and thus a boss fight started...during the fight Madame broodal would stomp her foot on the floor causing rock spikes to appear on the floor, throw her gold chain chompkins at Mario which cuases a shockwave on the ground and use her golden chain chomp (who by the way is covered in spikes) as mace...after using her throwing attack...Mario can use Cappy to capture Chompkins and propel it back at that bunny, after being hit Madame Broodal would begin chasing Mario while throwing Chompkins as if it's a boomerang...after three hits Madame Broodal is defeated and Mario and Cappy obtain their very first Multi Moon. Once they return back to the developing Bonneteer village they notice that the bonneteers have built an airship for Mario and Cappy and they end up using it to get to the next kingdom. Sand Kingdom part 1/3: Mario and Cappy finally arrived in the Sand Kingdom using the odyssey. Once there Cappy notices the fact that ice crystals were pushing out of the once hot sands along with the sudden drop of temperature than the usual desert...they come across a village with weird skeleton people, some were embedded in the ice crystal...Mario notices an unusual inverted pyramid which might be the source of the cold weather and thus our two heroes start making their way towards the temple where they encounter many enemies such as...Goombas, pokeys, sumo bros, fire snakes, flame chomps, ETC. Eventually the two of them start scaling a tower which requires a 2d section while scaling the tower. Eventually the made it to the top and obtained a power moon...after obtaining the moon a lift appears that takes them to a huge island home to several moon shards within the sand and pillars. After collecting all of them using invisible bridges in the area. After collecting all 5 of them the shards combine into a full power moon which creates a bridge allowing the two of them the ability to go to the inverted pyramid To be continued in 2/3 tomorrow

I do genuinely like this concept, but I feel like the new boss battles are a bit too complex for a new Mario Odyssey. Maybe for the king lakitu fight, it could be like the mechawiggler boss, where you use the lakitus to throw spinies at king lakitu to knock its crown off before ground-pounding him. For the Lord of lightning fight, maybe make it like the Knuclotec fight, where you have to ram Lord of lightning bowser to knock him into the pillars while dodging his lightning attacks. These are all just how I would do these bosses though. I'm amazed that you even went out of your way to think of these new bossfights in the first place!

I think the ancient threat could be named top bonneter he could have tried to destroy the planet but failed by being sent the the dark side of the moon and when bowser landed the crystal cracked thus letting him escape and continue with his plans(note his world ending plans could have taken place during ancient time during the year 1576 and the odyssey could have been top bonneter’s old ship and that’s probably why it looked so beaten up.
