Humans decide to manipulate the atmosphere to lower the world temperature and invoke an ice age, in order to create more land. 2. Humans through genetic engineering need to change in order to survive in the new world. They adopt the Aquatic creatures genetics. 3. The human becomes a big idol due to their unique singing talent.

More tragic than mine. The story is one rocket did find a new planet. It was just like Earth, but a 2/3s bigger. The humans dubbed this place "New Earth" And eventually, humanity became a multi planet colony 10,000 years later. Forming the Galactic Federation, and the events of Metroid happened. But with a twist. After Samus betrayed the GF in the events of Metroid Fusion, former GF soldiers whom left because of the Federation's crimes were inspired to create a new military to take out the Galactic Federation. If you are a Halo fan, that's right, in this universe, Samus is the one who inspired the creation of the UNSC. After a year of growing, the UNSC was ready, and waged war on the Galactic Federation. And after a few years, they won, the Galactic Federation was no more, and the UNSC took over. And their stories are basically the same as in the Halo series. Centuries have passed, the year is 2559 and 2 Spartans are sent back to Earth due to one reason, something Humanity missed when they evacuated. It turns out, there was a Halo Ring orbiting outside the solar system. And they were tasked to find an area on Old Earth to build a communication satellite so the base sent to research the ring will have instant communication with the UNSC. And after arriving, they find the Earth inhabited by the evolved Sea Life. After exchanging information with each other, the main government of humanity on New Earth, the UNI, agreed to let this new sea life to be the dominant species on Old Earth, and with help, the sea life agreed to be allies of the UNSC, and humanity.

Listening to this, it makes me think to a Splatoon OC I made and kept thinking on how to make her work. Her story is that this OC is a human scientist that was put into cryosleep alongside a team of other scientists she is a member of. Her cryopod opens in the time period of Splat 1, but she is the only one who wakes up. All the other scientists did not make it and have passed. Despite all this, she is keeping positive, seeing that she can pass on her knowledge of the past. The only problem is a communication issue. I made an Inkling OC as well, who meets the human scientist and they help each other. While the story this video story is so different from my version of a story, it makes me happy on the thoughts of what would happen if humans were to return to the earth in the Splatoon timeline. I just find the last war silly until at the end Humans can't really die to ink unless they drown in it, but they might have produced gas masks. They also could have made quite a large amount of ballistic weapons for humans, and they might've made war vehicles, unfortunately though they might not have the technology to have respawns fro humans. When squakto warned sea life, they could make a counter to a lot of those, but my money would've been on humans. But I might choose nuclear Armageddon for the ending as both sides unleash the nukes.

One silly idea i had a while ago with a human in splatoon was this. Either a human was found in cryo-status like the good old cat jud. Or some random 3rd party manages to create a human in some way. Whatever way we have a human doesn’t matter now. We have a human. Thats the problem. The main story involving it would involve different teams of people trying to get a hold of this human and get them to join them. Inklings/agents would get the humans to join their society / let the human enjoy being free. Octos would try to make them a power source or…something. Salmons would….. I actually dont know. Vibe with him maybe? Eat him? Who knows. And the 3rd party would want to study him. But. How would this human look like in splatoon. It cant look realistic that wouldn’t fit the splatoon style. Well. What if we pick the funny option instead. The human would be your mii.

That would imply that, in the Pikmin canon, all other Nintendo games are just that: games. That would include the Splatoon games. And even if there were Splatoon-based treasures, they would most likely also be Nintendo merch.

Wow... really impressive movie. BUT PLOT TWIST (No offense to the creator) everything here makes sense except for the gameplay and one thing that became canon in Side Order. Inklings, Octolings and some Octarians canonically have a soul that allows them to be respawn, using ink and some form of energy. (Respawn Machine - Electrical energy. Lifebuoy - Kinetic energy of a projectile.) it is worth adding that they respawn with clothes/armor and weapons. And let me remind you now that the salmonids are on the side of the "Marine Life" So it would be enough to gather enough Flyfishes in a safe zone so that their global range missiles would constantly bombard the battlefield. (Humans would die from the explosions and fallen inklings and octolings will immediately respawn) And to put it simply... humans would be massacred by an enemy that would respawn endlessly and immediately.

Maybe in an alternate ending. Squanto is able to stop all of the war by helping the general realize that this was all the reason humans almost went extinct in the first place. And that squids almost suffered the same fate. And maybe stop the war alltogether and once again uniting all races like he did with salmon squid and octos. Additionally to that feat, in the end of octo expansion Pearl out puts more power in her voice with the killer wail than TarTar could with his NILS laser, TarTar had enough power to destroy inkopolis square alone. This means Pearl could potentially also destroy inkopolis sqaure and possibly inkopolis itself with just her voice. So pearl could have easily whiped out a huge majority of the human army in this with the killer wail, but either the guy forgot about this feat or left it out on purpose.

I agree But also I felt like the war in the story could've a little more realistic, like I dunno maybe.... Mankind makes bullet weapons again, as well as war vehicles, masks to resist ink, better strategies, and a little bit of bombing cities. Also one nuke destroying everything is a little much, especially for one that's probably a random one. I could go on and on but this comment is already getting long.

You should do a next What If...? episode on either Mario or Legend of Zelda like: What If Sarasaland and the Mushroom Kingdom went to war? or What If Ganondorf was good?

Yeah no I'm not a fan of the way you handled this story. Squacto is a bit too much of a Mary Sue, with how he's responsible for bringing peace between all the Splatoon species on his own and being looked up as a leader, and also how he single-handedly brought the human species back from extinction. I also don't like how there are other humans. This seems conflicting with the Splatoon canon. One human is possible, but bringing back the humans from extinction isn't. I mean yes this is a different canon, a "What if ?". But this other universe still has mostly the same events as the original. This is is still supposed to be a Splatoon story, yet this wouldn't work at all as a Splatoon story. The tone and structure are nothing like what we've seen in an actual Splatoon story before. This doesn't work. Having everyone die, characters using actual guns and people actually dying on screen... Those aren't things that a Splatoon story would do. You might have a flawed understanding of what Splatoon is about. The human species will never come back in Splatoon. And if a member of humanity is still alive and is a protagonist, he would most likely be in a similar role to Agent 3, 4, 8 and Neo 3, fighting against a single big bad with an army like Octavio, Tartar or Mr. Grizz. And that enemy could use water, making this human the only one who can stop him in the final battle. Maybe it could be a salmonid, or Lil' Judd since he's clearly evil, doesn't explode when in contact with water, and was an ally of Mr. Grizz. And since Lil' Judd is at the head of GrizzCo., maybe his army could be the salmonids somehow. Also even if he uses water, Lil' Judd is a cat and most likely hates water, so this human could use water as well and turn Lil' Judd's weapon against him. And also I'm not a fan of the use of AI images either.

Yeah I agree although I feel that squacto feeling like a mary sue is mostly because he has very little characterisation other than "feeling out of place" so when all of the big events and responsibilities revolve around him it just isn't that interesting to follow. Although I personally don't like stories of humans surviving into the modern era of splatoon I think this one could be way more interesting if squacto was handled better and if the other characters had more importance to the plot.

I also feel like the timeline of events revolve around squacto too much as well. The fact that the rest of the humans came to the surface, integrated into inkling/octoling culture and started an uprising against them all within squacto's lifetime is just a bit unrealistic
