That was amazing, beautiful, and epic at the same time. The writing is absolutely perfect with Rosalina's backstory and how it justifies what she does. Although it is kind of like Super Mario Bros Wonder with Rosalina causing certain effects to the planets, and like Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope with Rosalina turning evil and wanting to suck all of the energy from the Lumas, but the story's still good. I also love how you incorporated Rosalina's father and brother during the final act.

As someone who writes a lot of Mario fanfiction, it's always interesting to see different situations the characters are thrust in that's different from their actual character and for me, I always liked to explore the darker side of characters as they were always so one dimensional to me in terms of character like what if Mario killed Bowser in cold blood. The lumas definitely had a bigger role in this one and bigger stuff like the huge changes to the levels and the bosses. And maybe for the next one it could be Super Mario Sunshine so I have 2 ideas for how this can go. Idea 1, Bowser decided to go brute force and invade the town and painting it but then gets arrested by the pinatas or idea 2 the 7 koopalings are the ones painting the town.

Was a bit wary of this concept at first... Because while I think the idea of tackling What If alternate scenarios with Nintendo stories is a great idea... I thought this might dive into weird edgy fanfiction territory. (Bless you innocent souls who haven't been in that rabbit hole) But this was actually really well done. Because even though it is an alternate scenario, everyone still feels in character. Maybe if a Luma treated Rosalina differently, she'd go on a darker path... Maybe Mario would have to stop her, instead of dealing with Bowser... again. Etc. And even something like Rosalina still having living family left could be possible. It's nothing like her immediately hating the Lumas for no reason, and going on some crazy kill spree (lowkey kinda funny to imagine tho... I'm twisted I know) You crafted a nice story here, that easily could still lead into the Post-Galaxy Mario games as we know them... maybe... based on the ending. Excellent video regardless.

I can already see this as a spin off game. With a few additions 1. One of Bowsers few remaining ships in space act as the hub, with Kamek being the leader of it. 2. While some galaxies have "Corrupted Comets" that fit well, others cause serious issues because they don't such as a lightning comet in a water world. 3. Instead of Rosalina's storybook, we instead find Kamek's diary, which tell of how he acted as the closest thing Bowser had to a dad. 4. Rosalina's outposts would be less castle-like than Bowser, but would instead use the natural abilities of planets, causing them to become incredibly dangerous. Someone with more experience than me, please start working on this. I would love to, but I still need to learn.

This was amazing.^^ Here's a what if. What if Bowsette actually became a thing, to the point where jealousy transformed Peach into a villain, using her magic to transform and empower the toads into her minions? Another: what if the reason why there's been no word from the Diddy Kong Racing NPC's is due to Wizpig having returned, and isolated their island for years, where the inhabitants, having gotten tired of waiting for rescue, decided to take things into their own hands as they repurposed their kart tech into exo suit weapons for each member to wield to oppose Wizpig's long drawn dominion over their island. Another: what if, in overhearing minions talking about other villains being more villainous and them glad that Bowser's more caring, and not as much of a villain as most are. Mad, Bowser decides to prove he's the best of the best, by working with Kamek to make a ritual to call back lots of fallen villains lost to time from the NUMEROUS other Mario, Mario & Luigi, Wario, and Yoshi games... while a secret aspect of the ritual slowly feeds some of their powers into him. And he presents to them the challenge to prove whom is the best. The ritual allows them all their armies, and tells them to find their own territories, before, after enough time, all the villains act at once to determine whom can best beat Mario. ...all while not realizing that some of said villains were redeemed, like Count Bleck. Another: Gruntilda finds a way to return, regaining her strength... but realizing all her resources on her home island has failed to allow her success against Banjo and Kazooie, she decides.... to outsource, heading out of the kingdom to gain new powers from franchises known to exist in the same world: Conker, Donkey Kong, Mario, etc.

I loved the story, I know you used inspiration from the canon story to create this what if? But I think that If Rosalina was evil.. everything would’ve been doomed. She has the power of the stars and Universe. She has the power to create and change worlds or galaxies and also timelimes since everytime she helps the universe reset it’s never the same. Also I think she would’ve use lumas for something stronger than comets, the black holes one was an example of something powerful. Also the power she used to try to defeat Mario would’ve been different. Something more delicate, astute and powerful. She could use the power of grand stars or her own power which is already very powerful. So with this in mind I think it would have been not the kind of story where the villain is defeated. ❤ As I said. I loved this story and I loved the creativity to make this.
