Well, her Band, I'd suggest ... And check out "Spliff: Radio Show" which is what the Band produced after they'd split in 1981 or 82. Fantastic album with ultimate lyrics.

@@allanhernandez2508 *Hi, Allan .... perhaps some further info on the "Nina Hagen Band", if you' re interested??:* Well, *here we go:* The four guys used to play in a popular left-wing, anti-fascist *"insider band" called "Lokomotive Kreuzberg",* when they met Nina in the late mid-70ties and after she'd left the "communist" "German Democratic Republic", because she wanted to demonstrate her solidarity with the popular east-german songwriter Wolf Biermann, who was forced by the "GDR"-to leave his home country due to his critical lyrics, in which he attacked the GDR-regime and described the bad political situation there! - The band members not only were very professional musicians ... they also had close contact to *the Berlin "Hansa" music studios,* which by then was one of the most modern and highly equipped recording studios all over germany - and also to *the congenial rock- and "scene"-foto- artist Jim Rakete,* who did a lot to give the new "Nina Hagen Band" the high professional background and contacts, they needed and arranged a BIG album deal with a major record company! - After Nina left the band in the aftermath of their 2nd album because of different plans for the future, Herwig, Bernhard, Rudolf and Manne founded *a new band called "SPLIFF"* with new singers and a new concept ( which already contained all of the benefits, they' d earned from their work as the "NINA HAGEN BAND"!!), which were *very successful during the :"NEUE DEUTSCHE WELLE"- era,* which earned great national popularity in the late 70ties and early 80ties with pop-musical artists as "NENA", "KRAFTWERK", GRAUZONE" , etc. - the "NDW"-scene was very heterogenic and spread their musical orientation from commercial hit-pop, over "New Wave"-sounds and "singer-songwriter"-rock-acts as Marius Müller-Westernhagen and Heinz Rudolf Kunze even to experimental electronic- and hard'n heavy-rock! - "SPLIFF" launched a legendary concept-album-hit right with their first record release *"The Spliff-Radio-Show"* ( thats truely a - in every sense PERFECT, AWESOME 'one-in-a-million' album, surely one of the three or five best rock-albums, that were ever released from a german band!! - *If you don't know it, try to hear it:* perfect, groovy rock riffs, fantastic lyrics, outstanding musical and technical quality and ahsolut stringent, highly intelligent concept with a fine sense of dark humor!! Believe me - *You MUST know it!* - *There is NOT A SINGLE "average" title on it - each one is a "killer" !!* They also had a small series of hit-outtakes from the "...Radio Show" ("Sweet as radio", "Love is a drug") and their 2nd release album "85555" ... ("Deja vu" & "Carbonara") - and the only causes, why their albums didn't shoot to international rock-chart top positions was, that the 2nd album contained german lyrics and the band hadn't big interest in doing international tours! - But in germany they were real "blockbusters" and maximum popular! - I give you this infos, because you seem to have greater interest in the music of the band! Perhaps *an "insider tip" for you: * If you like this band and music, try to catch an "earful" of the solo-projects of "NHB"-drummer *Herwig Mitteregger,* especially *his album: "Kein Mut - kein Mädchen",* on which he acts as an unbelievable creative and talented multi-instrumentalist and singer!! - You can't go wrong with his album!! - It is A KILLER!! - each song a pearl of german rock'n roll ( i know what i'm saying, because i am myself a rock-musician and i worked semi-professional as guitarist & keyboarder for many years!!)
