I think she's lovely, and true to herself, and fun, and brilliant. I totally respect her for the way she is shamelessly herself in every situation, in front of the whole world. Nothing artificial there! A real original, authentic person probably would seem "crazy" to some. To me, she is just utterly inspiring. :)

hey! I did say her voice is amazing. And to be fair I do think she's a bit crazy with all that shitty religious stuff.... still enjoyable although it's such a pitty her voice is so fucked (still beautiful and more awesome than many other singers)....in that way Diamanda Galas is the best

Do you know anything about Nina Hagen? 'Eccentric' would be a more appropriate adjective. Without question Nina Hagen is the quintessential over the top Diva of all time. Kate Bush, Celia Cruz, Debbie Harry, Grace Jones, Lene Lovich, Dolly Parton, and Diamanda Galas are right there too but Nina put it on the map. Fuck McDonna,Titney, & Lady Caca! Nina did it first and did it best. I just wish she had taken better care of her voice and could still do the operatic stuff. Whatever, Nina rules!
