I'm extremely pleased to say that I saw Nina Hagen live at least twice, but, probably 3 times way back in the dark ages of the last millenium. In fact the first time I saw her live, it was at a large hall in Vancouver BC, I was in the very front at the stage and Nina went down the line of people "low fiving" them. I don't speak German but, I can sing along with her German songs as well as the English ones. I also saw Lene Lovich and Klaus Nomi. I've always thought of them as the 3 most unique voices that I love to hear. Ave Maria is perhaps my all time favourite song.
