Huh? This was written in 1935. Nina Simone's version we hear here is from 1958. Joplin covered it 11 years later.

@@cschulz9865 It's still Rodgers and Hart's. Janice's version is special though. So are Louis Armstrong, Sinatra, Sam Cooke and Nina's versions. All very different, and great covers. Nina's vibe ain't for you. All good. Many people who loved Sinatra or Cooke's version would say that Janis was screeching, not singing.
