I loved this tune in '65 on the "I put a spell on you" album, perhaps my fav Nina album. But this "unplugged" version, which I just discovered today, blows me away. Miss Simone just goes so deeply into the moment that it tears the emotions. I was fortunate to see her several times in that era, and this performance so well captures her profound talents.

There was so much torment in her true message. At the same time she was strong enough to press on and do it like she needed and wanted.
