Y’all just missing the point guys. Clearly they both have a very different status for the UFC and the fans. Polyana is barely known, and if they would allow all small fighters to do silly stuff, it could become a shitshow very quick. Pereira was already such a big name, and now double champ, and who needs to introduce Adesanya. Those status comes with more freedom cause it can only add more to their character/image, therefore their numbers. I’m pretty sure if Polyana was champ, and a big star, no one would say anything if she show up with some anime shit

I thought of it like a safety policy because the ufc are streamed and broadcasted fights which the cosplay manufacturers and the anime studios could possibly suing like the same way not every song is available for walkouts or to use for videos. It’s not very likely but if every fighter keep doing what they want the possibility would increase drastically
