You can enjoy the song even more if you are able to understand the lyrics. This song is about the class difference. After some rich elite people's dinner party, they allow the slum dwellers of that surrounding to come and clean up the place and eat the left overs. They have a totally different party in their own down to the earth, non pretentious way in the midnight. The lyrics start like, you can cover yourself and sleep, or lay down first and cover yourself, both acts have the same outcome.

This scene is like the Titanic Party scene. Niche party vs Fun party under the ship. But only in this the girl doesn't participate. Yes, this is about what if the poor Fishermans had access to the rich people party, A class divide thing. You can even find a key element of Ramayana being performed as street act in this song. Sita, Ram and Laxman ( Brother of Ram) in the forest. Sita sees a deer and asks her husband to bring it for her. Ram goes hunting...gets lost in the jungle. Brother Laxman draws a holy line to protect Sita and guards her. Since Sita couldn't find Ram, she asks Laxman to go look for him. While Laxman was gone, the villain Ravana comes in disguise as a Yasigan (you can say begging?!) and tricks Sita to cross the holy line...then he kidnaps her...Songs ends by the girl saying she really enjoyed the party in English while the fishermen boys think she is yelling at them...then she translates saying, we are good...One of my favourite songs. Prabhu Deva's choreography and shot divisions, continuity between one shot to another...following the lyrics...it was amazing to witness :) Can't believe they did this humungous song sequence in film days...before digital :) I had a great time watching this reaction video :)
