Nina you need to play and make another dozen or so tags with all the lovely supplies you have on your desk top. I love the trim with the beads. I have not seen anything like that before, but I'm sure I could put my own together. Gorgeous results!

Aren't Indian/Asian fabrics absolutely stunning?!?! I love, love, love them. I just ordered a bag of scrap remnants for $10 so I can make some of these. And another for $12 that is coming all the way from India! Indian culture is sooooo absolutely bright, bold, shiney, and gorgeous! One day I hope to travel them to immerse in the culture. I'm in Coventry so a quick train ride away. I always spend way too much when I go over as I stock up on trims and other lovely crafty goodies I find over there. I bought a roll of wall paper lining paper in the pound shop and am using it on top of my glass mat when I stencil, stamp, ink and paint. Does make a lovely back ground paper.

With regards to your silks, try glazing medium instead of water. It helps them reconstitute and if you get one that is too far gone you can still salvage some of the colour if you add the glaze, let it sit overnight and mix like crazy.

Nina they look amazing!!! Just a tip (although you may know it already): pure some water into the acrylics glaze and let it stand a little bit before you use it. Like you did but a bit more. You get more of this metallic look, like this. Hope this helps xxxx :) p.s. I have used too a paste like this, it's too thick and a bit of tricky to apply but it worths it!! ;)

Thanks for the tip Katerina. I will definitely try it. I love the metallic look, but I don't find these at all easy to apply without applying a lot of water and using as a wash. The paste was much easier to apply once I had added a bit of water too :)

You could store in a small jewellery display box though. I was thrilled with how these turned out, you should definitely give it a go :) xx
