I feel that every human needs to see it and will find value in it. Oprah would be proud. As you re-visit your books, I will re-visit this video. Thank you for sharing this powerful message!!!

Hello Mrs. Takesh, Thank you ever so much for this video and book selection. I am a 53 year old woman on a new path. I have been learning some of the things you mentioned in this video, but your video drove it home for me today. I have been letting the negative self talk deter me from moving forward in this new season in my life. I love Oprah as well and hearing how she helped you has truly inspired me today. I love you, your designs and your refreshing spirit.

Approximately 2:30 am the other morning , while trying to sleep, so many thoughts kept going on in my head. I thought I’m going to watch KZbin interior design videos to help get this annoying voice in my head to calm. The first video that came up was your video. I love watching you but I thought hum.. this is different. Omg ❤️. It was exactly what I was thinking. It was as if you were speaking to me. I am an avid Oprah fan and heard many times her speak of Eckhart Tolle and mention this book. You inspired me for some reason more than anyone has on a long time. I ordered all 3 books as well as a journal. Your work is amazing and you truly seem as beautiful inside as out. I have never written a comment on you tube. Thank you so much and I would love to someday see some of your work if ever I can visit your area. I’m in Kentucky but love California!!

Your candor was so relatable, by the way I live in VA close to DC. I have been divorced a number of years and also read A New Earth and the Four Agreements and agree with everything you said, especially regularly rereading them. Have two daughters and remember my job is what got me through the divorce ( I work in the financial industry). You learn a lot about yourself and what I learned is how much focus I have. Nina, you should pat yourself on the back--women are so much stronger than men. And of course enter me in the give away--how fun!!

I’m a young 61 ( if that’s possible) and am now living life for me so I have daily epiphanies. I got a job I love instead of years in a job helping teens that I liked but totally burnt me out. Hence the selling of my home and moving. Life is good a bit of a struggle but I look at the glass half full. I’ve always loved interior design and thank you for your help. I work in an upscale decor store with magnificent items and am enjoying every minute even the exhausting ones. I just wish I was younger to pursue a career in this field. Thank you for your videos I look forward to watching them all!!

Perfectly said, life has brought heart breaks, I have worked through them, like you, many was not easy to get through, and at times still creep back into my thoughts. I enjoy interior decorating, I have flipped all the houses I have bought, I wish I would have done this for a living, but I chose the Army for 20 years, I still serve Veterans, I am the Commander of an AMVETS Post. I'm to old to start over, 68, I had to share, this video, it is very insiteful. I am happy you have shared with us your real life, your not just a rich girl that was handed everything on a golden platter. Downers happen to most of us, some never pull out of the downer slump, sad to say like my brother, he lives a homeless street life, for many reasons I won't go into, but it does break my heart, I've helped all I can, many have rags to riches stories, I'm not just talking money, I'm also talking phycological, some just stay with rags. I love you, you are awesome. Thank You. YOU HAVE GAINED A FAN

Nina, I've been watching your design videos and I so appreciate you sharing your life experiences and lessons with us. I am in my mid-30s and also from a traditional culture, I can 110% relate to the negative voices in my head and the pressure to present a picture perfect life. This video moved me and brought me to tears because I really needed to hear all of this. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have been in the same situation and I took a brave step to walk away from all the drama. I’m having a great life and happier than ever. You just have to move on and put your energy for your passion. ♥️♥️

Nina, unbelievable episode. (I normally watch you while on the treadmill, but had to get off to comment🤣😂. Also I was choked up by your story😰🥰 and had to get my wits together). I came to your channel because I love your design expertise and guidance, but clearly your channel is much more. I wish you continued success, and much love and peace ❤️ ☮️ . Tracy R

Love your channel! Can you please do a video on how to decorate with large floor mirrors? I have several large antique floor mirrors that have been gifted to me through the years, and I am never happy with the placement. I see decorators espousing their use, but I have not yet seen any good tips on their uses. Thanks :)
