I’m really grateful for those people who recorded and shared those clips, it gives other people an opportunity to see what’s going on on stage, ofc it’s not the same energy and feeling but at least we can see different arrangement of the songs we all love, cheers ❤

i can’t believe he’s still so good at almost 60-y-o..i’m only 41 in a month, & there’s no way i’d have the energy they have at this age..course i’m disabled, so my body can’t handle much anymore after my car wreck 8 years ago, but still.. the energy is insane for almost being 60.

After so many years, it's still absolutely incredible to me how the band switches instruments betweens songs, Ilan Rubin in particular shines a lot due to how insane his drumming is in between doing vocals, hopping on a keyboard, or when he hops on bass for sanctified when the bassist goes to play keys. It's like Trent Reznor backed by an entire team of other Trent Reznors with extra proficiencies in their main live instrument.

I always appreciated Trent’s pretty “open source” attitude about his material, letting fans into the same sampling and experimenting that gave rise to his early albums. Still look back with fondness in 2007 or ‘08 when he did a pay as you want model to some of his art.

They started having concert recitals at Red Rocks in the late 1800’s because it truly is a natural amphitheater. I’m sure they couldn’t even conceive that there would be an event like this at the same place, 130 years later.

i was at both, we've been waiting a looong time for an outfit like this to come to recital. We love the songs about pigs, reptiles, the sun, and hurting. Much experience. We thank Mr. Reznor for his tenacity and bright lantern show. Amen.

I didn't know that!!! Thanks for the info ☺️👌 Btw, you meant "late 1980's" (it's written "1800's)
@synthesis12
@synthesis12 10 ай бұрын
@@LunaticacelesteI think he meant late 1800's, because according to Wikipedia a man named John Brisben Walker had a vision of people performing there, since it was already a natural rock formation in the shape of an amphitheatre and there were concerts as early as 1906 on a temporary platform, but it was supposedly used by the "Ute Tribe" way before that. Wiki says official construction began in 1936. I hope to go there someday, so many legendary bands have performed there!

thank you for the edit! excellent. i’ve been a NIN fan since 91 or 92. i’ve never seen them live bc i get claustrophobic at big events. the energy here is insane, even tho you can tell he’s reaching 60. i can see why he quit doing NIN..i’d be so done too. he still does incredible. i hope you we hear Trent’s voice on his new soundtracks in the future..i need it.
