Why this didn't make the final cut of With Teeth I don't know, it's such a good nine inch nails track dark, moody, energetic full of suspense and excellent synths. Trent you are a genius

Yurp. bugs me to think he must have so many other tracks never finished that we might never hear. The Fragile deviations was alright but too much today NIN influence i felt if that makes sense. Cleaned it up too much, added stuff they didnt add anything (end of starfuckers) o.0

I love so much how many of the lyrics in this song call back to and reference the other songs on With Teeth. It's like a summation of all the concepts on the album. "maze of monochrome" = All The Love In The World "How can I go home?" = Home "Try to stand in line" = The Hand That Feeds "Staring at the sun" = Sunspots Then there are some that more loosely reference lyrics and ideas, such as these: "I'm fading out of sight" = Beside You In Time "Try to obey" = Getting Smaller There are other that are more of a stretch, but you get the idea. Brilliance!

I like that song! I think Trent's a genius of course, but there are some songs I just don't like that much by him. Love Is Not Enough for example, is great instrumentally but the lyrics are awful, they're not really saying anything he hasn't said before and they're doing it in a very boring way. Kinda I Want To has obnoxious stereo panning and cringeworthy lyrics. But I don't dislike any of those songs, I can only really come up with one song like that; In Two from HM. I hate the first half of this song, it starts with a great atmospheric build up then Trent's delivery is really awkward and the instrumentation is tripping on its own wires. After that an awful vocoder effect with trent just saying "nononnonono", it's almost comical, and the chorus has this fumbling confused falsetto harmony, it just sounds bad. After the second chorus there's a great typical NIN quiet bridge section which is fantastic, and then the transition into WISH here is excellent. Not a complete catastrophy, and not worth skipping but I don't like the main part of that song at all!

This may be one of the best songs ever made in the history of the world. What a brooding, raw song, every aspect is perfect the eeriness of the piano, the guitar giving it a bit of that hopeful feel, I hear this song and I hear perseverance of the human will in spite of nearly having lost all hope.

Voidless conception of all of your perceptions are inane to my self. The most important person on earth is myself because I’m the one conceiving the awareness of what my reality is. 99% are nicht to me. The consciousness is fueled by the soul and the mechanics of your body but the soul travels after the body breaks down and it’s haunting the help out of me with, sadness, beauty, love, want, euphoria and hope. There for I I’m not the most important person in my reality because I have a counterpart that sees much and understands much better than I. Love

I would indeed of been interesting for Reznor to record these ideally 'difficult to find' unreleased tracks for us devoted fans to find. Heavily influencial bands such as Radiohead, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Incubus have quite a few album outtakes and B-Sides to share.
