I was there! I witness this performance! One of the best memories I have in my head until I die. 1994....there with my future wife. I was 17. The future was unknown and I was completely content. One of the best experiences in my life and I will never forget it. I was in love and held hope for the future. I could have died that night and been happy.

This entire album (pretty hate machine) along with The Downward Spiral and The Fragile got me through the heartbreak of serious breakups, the death of close family members and the death of my best friend from a freak accident. All of the deaths still haunt me to this day but these albums helped me through my darkest days.

I should add that I was fortunate enough to see them perform at their first lollapalooza tour, saw them with Bowie back in 96, saw them with APC, saw them 3 times after that tour, and saw them with Soundgarden before Chris Cornell committed suicide. The persistence of loss never escapes me.

Haunting. Chilling. Trent Reznor really summed up all of the tears, sweat, and pain that heartache manages to simply teach us when we are feeling as though we're just specks of dust. Pure nothingness. All of this agony will someday subside, but, only through true genuine empathy and gratitude will there ever be a hope to break out of all this bondage.

I still recall the taste of your tears. Echoing your voice just like the ringing in my ears. My favorite dreams of you still wash ashore. Scraping through my head 'till I don't wanna sleep anymore. [Chorus:] You make this all go away. You make this all go away. I'm down to just one thing. And I'm starting to scare myself. You make this all go away. You make this all go away. I just want something. I just want something I can never have. You always were the one to show me how Back then I couldn't do the things that I can do now. This thing is slowly taking me apart. Grey would be the color if I had a heart. [Chorus:] Come on and tell me. You make this all go away. You make this all go away. I'm down to just one thing. And I'm starting to scare myself. You make this all go away. You make this all go away. I just want something. I just want something I can never have In this place it seems like such a shame. Though it all looks different now, I know it's still the same. Everywhere I look you're all I see. Just a fading fucking reminder of who I used to be. [Chorus:] Come on and tell me. You make this all go away. You make this all go away. I'm down to just one thing. And I'm starting to scare myself. You make this all go away. You make it all go away. I just want something. I just want something I can never have. I just want something I can never have.

Wow I just got so soothed by his voice & the music about halfway through I nodded off for less than a minute I guess but it AMAZED me because I haven't slept much lately & I can easily get caught up watching these live concerts & videos & when I discovered this song so late in. life-just in last few weeks-I'm used to hearing Trent singing this with mostly piano & I think 1 other instrument-but this has more instruments- Sound is harder & different slightly but that harder sound for some reason soothes me deep down-Thank you for the videos-to whomever posted these & Thank you so much Trent for your genius-your music-your live performances-Yourself-Being who you are & for how the music was & sounded back then as well as the more recent music I've heard on here but unsure if I've yet to find anything recent enough to say 'within last few years But I haven't specifically searched either as I easily get caught up in listening to entire concerts posted here as well as reading comments & writing my own comments-Especially when it's an insomnia night-weekend or several days-Thank you for being so Amazing that I can listen to your music or have it in my head or sing it to myself as I found myself doing in a public restroom early today at the hospital & really not caring who heard me-Nobody can ever replace Trent & I look forward to having the opportunity to see Nine Inch Nails live-Please come to NY-It's October 2021 now-Anytime within this next year or so-it would be so Amazing to have the opportunity & pleasure to see him-them Live & I don't have a car currently otherwise I'd drive to wherever I had to-within the states-If they were playing anywhere within the U.S-I don't have a passport or the funds to travel internationally but if I did I would do what I had to do to get to where I need to get if the opportunity to see such a Great Band that I only discovered in last few weeks &it reminds me when I discovered Marilyn Manson so late in his career already in 2012 but he was touring & in NY 1 night only on my birthday &although I immediately got myself a ticket the next day-Needing to go to store & buy a prepaid card & buy the ticket-Well anyway I missed the show because I arrived later than I should have but still bought another ticket & drove into the next state a few days later & again missed the show I wanted to see dye to a huge detour & wound up getting there just as Rob Zombie was starting & that's not what I went for so I didn't even park but turned around & drove hours back home & later in 2015 bought tickets to go with someone to a NY show in Winter & drove through very bad weather conditions-black ice & hills that scared me the same way I feel before a roller coaster drops or when I bungee jumped & had to jump & couldn't be pushed-Jumping is the hardest part & to feel that same way driving down a hill in that town where he was playing-Well-I digress now Anyway-Marilyn Manson diidn't even brave those crazy weather conditions & I Finally got to a show on time &he cancelled it Last Minute because I checked an hour before leaving & it was still on& an hour later it was canceled-Weird how now I've missed 3 Marilyn Manson concerts & they promised to reschedule that 3rd one but after a few weeks they just gave refunds instead-Something kept preventing me from getting to see those live shows but I believe if I have the chance with Nine Inch Nails that things would go smoothly & I'd get there-It feels meant to be Although I thought same thing in 2012 for my birthday & the fact Marilyn Manson was still touring & I thought I was too late but then was ecstatic but let myself down those first 2 attempts to see them. Difference now is not having a car so I'll just keep hoping they come & play nearby-Speaking about Nine Inch Nails although I still would try to see Marilyn Manson a 4th or 5th time too-I find it all ironic to have found out just recently how trent discovered him & produced Antichrist Superstar I believe-No wonder I instantly loved Trents sound a few weeks ago when I listened to a song LOL-I discovered both late in life but also in opposite order & almost exactly 9 years apart-whatever that means-I am learning more & more that it's hard for me not to write novels when I haven't been sleeping-Enjoy the music & videos everyone Sorry for typos or my phones crazy autocorrect but just want to post & discover & enjoy another new. To me video that started too
