Amen,Rusty. The older I get, im now 55, the more I learn to appreciate the small stuff. I think back on all the years I have been hunting ducks, I have been hunting em since I was 7, and I remember all of the good times and how special all of those times have been and it just makes me smile. Awesome hunt by the way!!! I can't get enough of watching those mallards drop down through those trees!!!!!

Man, the Coca Cola hole is one helluva place to shoot ducks. I’ve watched a lot of your posts and you and your guests do a nice job in there every time. You’ve done a great job managing that resource; you’re a blessed man to have that opportunity. You also offer great advise as well; slow down and enjoy- maybe more true today than ever. Enjoy your coffee, enjoy your friends and shoot a duck or two. Nothing better than a good morning in the duck marsh. 👍

That’s very sad. He was awesome. We used to stay in the camp house across the road from the kings house. We hunted the bayou. Had some great times then we all had kids and adulting took over our playtime

The Lost Buck hole. Did it get the name because a buck came walking through the decoys at one time?

No sir. Back n the echo video days Freddy had a lab named Buck. The second time we ever hunted there he chased a cripple completely out of sight. Found him thirty minutes later a half mile or more away. We “lost buck” so the name just stuck.
