Can't wait to go on T, these videos always remind me more of how much I want these changes to happen... Also the stuff about male privilege is really interesting. I pass like 50% of the time and I can always tell when cis men view me as a guy or not. They really do treat you very differently. I find that I become friends with girls more easily because they usually don't care that much, but then I also feel very dysphoric when I'm seen as one of the girls. I think I'll be much more comfortable when I'm on T and I don't have to constantly explain my identity to people. Not saying I would go stealth entirely, but at times it would be nice to have the option.

OH MY GOD! I can’t phrase this concisely but cis men view ANY GENDER other than theirs in such a weird way. Not to mention the blatant sexism….. when I’m perceived as a woman by them (I’m agender btw) I’m somehow taken less seriously and treated distantly bc oh well, if I won’t date them or be in a relationship then we can’t be close friends, right? I’m just some stupid “chick”. On the other hand, if I were a man (or perceived as one by them) they’d instantly wanna be friends with me, hang out etc. since I’d be one of the “boys”. Their all male friend groups are so fucking weird. It angers me to no end sometimes. I so feel you on that one.(I generally don’t understand this willing segregation between the binary genders in terms of friend groups with cis het people. Eugh….)

Made me laugh what u said about cis guys haha, reminds me of that thing 'oh to have the confidence of a completely average cishet white man'. I have a few friends who're cis guys though and they're sound. One of my friends used to be quite homophobic and transphobic though but he said meeting me and becoming my friend helped him understand more about it. His parents are pretty religious so I think some of it was just internalised from them. But yeah I wonder if any of my friends will treat me differently when I start T
