I like how there are two different color ways happening in the twisting. I haven't seen a disappearing nine patch in this color split before. Nicely done!

Thank you for the pattern. It would be really nice if you would tell the block size and the quilt size.
@65leapfrog3 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing.
@GrrannyH13 жыл бұрын
@@65leapfrog I am thinking it should measure 30x30 when finished. The way I got this is the following: cut strips 4" wide. Sew 3 x 4" strip together = 11" unfinished, then cut at 90° into 4" strips x 11" long. Sew 3 of these strips together = 11" square. Cut in half both ways = 5 1/2" squares. Sew 4 of 5 1/2" squares together = 10 1/2" square. Sew 3 of 10 1/2" squares together , both across and down= 30" x30" finished/bound (unfinished as sew = 30 1/2"x 30 1/2")

Beautiful quilt, but again missing instructions. Do the rows go opposite ways, to get the pattern behind you? OR do the blocks all point in the same direction.
@cindymcfarland46864 жыл бұрын
If you study the quilt on the wall and locate the actual block you will see that all the blocks point the same direction no matter which row they are placed in. You get the look that the blocks are rotated because of the secondary design. Hope that makes sense.

Wish he had demo'd with an overhead shot. Not very clear with the spoken instructions as he didn't hold up the pieces to see what he was sewing together. He gets a D from me..... This is the first time I found a tutorial hard to follow.
