I swear the only people who are convinced England fans are proclaiming this as a great victory are fans who hate England and are desperate to label us with arrogance that isn’t there 🤷♂️

Literally, it's so toxic. I was at the game, the crowd was electric for england. Its just armchair coaches thinking they know better. Yes our defence needs sorting out, but we conceded that same amount of points france and new zealand did, and their defences are anything but poor.

It's mainly bitter Scottish fans. England lives in their heads rent free.

Rugby officials need to step back and take a look at how excessively forensic penalisations are becoming. The 'knock-on' prior to the Freeman try (27mins41sec) was ridiculous. It was the most minor of fumbles, no camera angle we saw was conclusive and, crucially, England GAINED NOTHING FROM IT. Let the game flow, please.
@judaspriest495720 күн бұрын
I disagree. Its a knock on. Simple as that. Same as the pass from Smith for the first try was forward.

6.44 minutes is not "extended" highlights.

You saw what EJ did with Japan side in 2015 RWC. But Japan has become rusty and needs more work to get back there.

Good play on both sides.

A rout maybe but I’m still not convinced we’re firing on all cylinders. Still lacking midfield direction, punch across the gain line by the forwards not to mention better use of the wings.

well Slade was an awful selection clearly

As a Scot it was mauling. The Northampton wide try was excellent Finn is probably jealous! But you are still stodgy, Marcus he’s really good.but I’m just a punter.

@@robinstevenson1098 A punter, maybe but I fear you are right. And as for Scotland, well, you guys are really in with a chance this upcoming Six Nations. Best of luck and may the best team win!

I'm surprised that Grace did'nt get to ref the game..to make sure of a English victory.

Really pleased for this squad. They pushed the big 3 so hard this autumn. Deserved a game like this in front of their friends and family ❤ Especially after putting up with the shit "supporters" and the media this year. Well done lads.

England have no menace either in midfield or amongst the forwards. They are a talented group of players, but no one fears them, mostly because they dont have a mindset to dominate the opposition. That is Borthwicks fault.
@2011hwalker19 күн бұрын
Nonsense-their forwards, especially the back row, is very strong.

Extended highlights? My arse! Extended highlights are 20-40 mins. 6 mins is snippets. So brief you get no feel for the match. All you see are a few kicks at goal and the final moments of a try being scored. Absolutely disgusting that not even delayed real extended highlights are available on terrestrial TV anymore. How is it good for the game when many fans can't watch games easily anymore? If we can't find a pub showing it then we're reliant on some nice person putting it on youtube (And the greedy powers that be don't take it down) or risk watching some dodgy illegal channel.
@oysterman25020 күн бұрын
Totally agree. This is literally the tries being scored and no inclusion of the set ups - for example ALL the forward drives that led to scores, we see only the final moments. England Rugby owes us better than this!

Why don’t you start thinking before you comment, then you won’t have to keep adding more comments in your desperation to find fault in anything England? 🤷🏻♂️

Nothing to get too excited about. It was,after all Japan, though their 2 tries were very well taken assisted by poor English defence.
@angelaizen223123 күн бұрын
We conceded no more points than france or nz did. Are you gonna call their defences poor, too? 😅
@angelaizen223123 күн бұрын
Have you considered that maybe japan actually has good attacking skills? You can't say that their tries were solely down to bad defence. That takes away any ounce of skill from the Japanese players and is honestly pretty disrespectful to them.

I’m Scottish, I mostly hate you, cheered for you in 2003. A tough team. Someone has to beat the southern hemisphere. You have the players, that maul thing will never work against SA and NZ. Marcus is a bit like Finn, which is good. its backs work you need. We’ve got centres who are telepathic, Duhan and Darsie too. You’ve always been strong in the scrum, but not so mobile, get your open side playing with the centres, add options. We love beating you, but occasionally you get it right, monster us! We all have to look up to The Bocke All blacks, think of how to beat them, you’ll have a game plan that beats lesser teams. You will never maul the Saffers. So get creative,
