My second big video on Antoine Dupont!!!
Antoine Dupont is probably going to be crowned the greatest rugby player of all time if he can continue to perform at the level he has been since the start of his career. Starting in Castres, Dupont moved to Toulouse and is now the French National Captain. From a young age it was evident he was special. His ability to change a game is frightening - the strength of a prop, the athleticism of a backrow, the skills of an outhalf and the speed of a winger, he has it all. Following France’s defeat in the RWC 2023, Dupont debuted for the National 7s side and dominated.
Is Antoine Dupont the GOAT of rugby? Many would argue, yes!

What's most impressive is that none of the highlights can really show Dupont's main quality. His game intelligence allows him to drastically raise the level of play of his entire team. Dupont is above all a team player, as well as being an extraordinary individual talent.

Totally agree, he's good runner, he's good kicker, but his reading of the play is like he sees television in his head. French is a rich language, but we had to invent new superlatives becasue of him 😄

As a fan of the sport since 1977, I cannot recall ever seeing a more complete rugby player than Dupont. He is electric in attack and freakish in defence. He has the speed of an outside back, the fend of a front rower, the engine of a flanker, the boot of a fullback, the balance and cunning of a halfback, the step, vision, and decisiveness of a flyhalf, and the humility of a true leader of men. As a lover of the game from Australia it is a true privilege and joy to watch this man play. Unquestionably, the greatest halfback I’ve ever seen, and while others may wish to debate it, he’s got my vote for the GOAT of rugby union. Vive Dupont! 🎉🏉✨

I hope he'll get it, however i think that he has not played enough international rugby to qualify. And if he does qualify in autumn the jury is out early on octobre or at best first days of november, hence too late for the Pumas, the ABs and Japan ( not sure about Japon coming this years). It would be a shame though. Anyway, don't quote me on this.

Every generation produces an awesome player.. On all continent. Dan Carter, Johnny Wilkinson have been my heroes on a rugby field... Today wr have Dupont.. I'm glad a French man raises to the level!!

Well i would like to oficialy confirm that "Sacrebleu" is not a French word anymore. It's now an English word to caricature French people. I've never seen any French guy use it. This word has no sense, it is a polite way to say "holy god" (sacré Dieu) but say the god name is not a good thing so they say "holy blue" (sacrebleu), very close but without meaning.
