FLAME4564 I think that depends on how well Series 8 went. In my opinion it went well as the Grand Final beat the X-Factor in ratings. Then again, that's not really difficult.

FLAME4564 More armour, new chassis etc. You have to keep some original features, for example: Camouflage design, sergeant stripes, front jaws and flamethrower. Maybe they'll make his rear saw work again. You'll never know.

I remember reading somewhere that the other robot operators have a go at being house robots, and that the guy from team 101 was controlling Bash. He agreed that the fight was pretty bland so he decided to cause mischief.

DAMN IT! Both house robots, Sergeant Bash and Refbot aren't returning! Bash was possibly the most amusing of the house robots due to that flamethrower, and Refbot enforced the rules. Since Bash with the iconic flamethrower and Refbot who keeps the house robots in line are gone, where is most of the fire and rule-enforcing? Hope they return in the new Second Wars.

Refbot, I'm not sure as for Bash he's one of the most complicated house robots to put together. I believe they ran out of time as all the others were still being put together a week before they started filming. Fingers crossed he'll be back for the next series.

Recently I have started to watch all the old episodes of Robot Wars, and it is getting more and more annoying how the 'house robots' would jump in and destroy a competing robot. Then the other robot is declared the winner. While this may be fun to watch, I find it more than a little annoying. The result is not fare as the 2 competing robots have not fought, and the result was brought about by the interference of the house robots. This would not be allowed in ant other sport, so why here. Just let the 2 competing robots fight it out for the 3 minutes THEN when the winner has been decided, the house robots can come in, but there is no need to destroy all the hard work that has gone into the robots, just dump it in the pit!
