Awesome! I've been looking for a bike that will be in that 140 rear category. Something that still allows me to enjoy technical pedaling and all the fun hawps but with a wider range of capability when going down hill as compared to my xc bike. This is looking promising. I'll be waiting for part 2!

Take a look at the Scott Genius tuned. I use it for xc and downhill. Two wheel sets 29er and 27.5 + "Any trail any time"🙌🏽 love my bike

Those trails look killer! I'll have to head up that way (RI rider). I have the 2016 RIP and love it, the 2020 is on my short list for it's replacement. I've been concerned about the air fill on the shock but it seems not to be too big of an issue. Didn't know about JRA being a dealer. Maybe I can duplicate this ride with a demo soon.

Did you find it to be too much bike for NE singletrack? A lot of reviews talk about the climbs and the descents. I'm more concerned about everything in the middle.

I was wondering how you would compare the Rip 9 RDO to the Pivot Mach 5.5 and the Devinci Troy? In your review of those two bikes you liked them as well for the same trails, do you feel RIP 9 RDO is better for your location and type of riding or did you like the Mach 5.5 or the Troy better? Maybe a short comparison review on these three? I ride in CT and prefer the same type of riding so your input on these three would be great. Thanks

Absolutely love my Rip9! Only downside is the bigger wheels burning my but when I hang off the back sometimes compared to my old 27.5 bike, but I am short and have stubby legs, lol.

Any more time on the Rip 9? Thoughts about it and New England singletrack? Thank you for all of the outstanding videos!

How much psi do you run in the fork? Did you have any issues with dialing it in?

I have a 2yr old Jet 9 RDO, 5 star. Had a light no thrills ride last Saturday and the rear skewer warped and the cassette (12) fell out. Wondering if this ever happened before? Thanks.

Needham Town Forest. Strava for this ride wouldn't help much, too much riding around in circles talking with a GoPro on my head.
